Some great ones so far today. Congo looked stronger than I would have expected and Portugal looked uninspired in a 1-1 draw…



And Croatia and England (how are these two in a group together) trading blows 2-2 at halftime.

And England pulls in front 3-2 90 seconds into the 2nd Half. Then follows up immediately with two near misses.

5 goals scored before a keeper saved a shot.

England would be a threat if they could defend.

That triple save by the Croatian keeper was SPECTACULAR.

First 10 minutes of 2nd half has been wild!

England with multiple shots right at the goal and the Croatian keeper putting on a clinic.

It wasn’t an offsides. The keeper came off his line before the shot.

Liverpool won the Champions League like that once. Dudek was way off his line on every shot During the penalty shoot out that decided it. That was before the crack down on it and also before VAR.

I hope they have that letdown before we would have to play them... which would be on July 4th, no less.

I wouldn't be worried a bit over a rematch at Yorktown, but I don't think we want to play them on the soccer pitch.

Thanks, had the sound down and thought they were focusing on the Croatian player moving toward the goal that looked like he "left early". You can probably guess how much soccer I watch but always enjoy the spectacle and competition of the WC. Been a lot of flipping between it and the CWS over the past week.

Man that onslaught England out on Croatia the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half was fierce. Hard to believe they only got 1 goal out of it.
