Other than Satan’s network changing the schedule to force the game between the USA and Venezuela that got Jose Altuve hurt, it has been an interesting set of games. Unfortunately, there are several players like Altuve that will now be lost for the MLB season.

WBC has been fantastic. The US - Venezuela game was great theater normally only found in the best World Series games.

I’ve seen Altuve on the shelf until June with a broken thumb. Do you have an updated report of him out for the year ?

Minimum is 2 months based on Bryce Harper’s time out last year with a broken thumb. I’ve heard it could be 5 months depending on the recovery from surgery.

That is crazy. On that, who is the last player that can do what Ohtani does? He's an absolute freak of nature
