My wife uses this site all the time. That 80% discount is the norm. Anytime we want to go out to eat (live in Durham, so many more options), she just googles Restaurant.com coupon code and then proceeds to buy her coupons. So, nothing to be too excited about. They usually have a code listed somewhere that will give you 70-80% off, and very, very rarely they run a 90% off special.

I would have one hell of a time running up a 35$ tab at a mexican restaurant, sans alcohol.

I've used a few of these around Columbus and Starkville and nobody ever cares. They just take it, subtract, and off you go.
