I took the test online yesterday. It's not that any of the questions are particularly difficult, but to answer 50 questions in 12 minutes some of which require several steps of mathematics is where scores for most people would be limited. I tried to answer as many questions correctly as I could with the time allotted and I got 37 out of 38. I was unable to reach 12 of the questions. If I were smart I would have spent the last 20 seconds filling in an answer at random for the remaining questions and I probably would have gotten three or four more correct.
Your score indicates the reason you are a moderator. Most on this board, myself included would have gotten a 3.:sunglasses:

Given say 30 minutes instead of 12 I think an average freshman in high school would be able to get more than 45 correct. As the questions progressed, I figured out that rather than trying to figure out the answer, you can get to the answer more quickly by looking at the choices and eliminating the ridiculous ones. Usually there is only one possible correct answer if you're able to estimate. As I was taking it I came to the conclusion that anything over 25 is pretty respectable.

The point of the test is also to measure, in part, the player’s willingness to prepare. You can prep for the test in some capacity. Getting a terrible score may not necessarily mean you lack intellect — it could be that you didn’t take it seriously, which may not be an appealing quality to teams.

A score under 20 does not show lack of preparation. It shows a lack of intellect. Some of the questions were instantaneously easy. Others were easy but required a few seconds to perform some simple addition and subtraction. But I would agree the way to achieve an excellent score would be with some preparation.

straight of of college, most people should be able to score pretty high on that test.

Once you been out of school for years.. and in many cases here decades... your brain isn't as sharp and you can't remember most of what you knew back then.

Although if he really knew Pizza, he would not be eating Papa Johns.:sunglasses:
Unfortunately for 90% of the country, Papa Johns and CiCis is pizza. I feel sorry for them.

If you’re interested in pizza purity, watch the first episode of Ugly Delicious on Netflix. David Chang travels from Brooklyn to New Haven to Naples to track down the different pizza.

does anyone know if they are allowed pen/paper and or a calculator when taking the test?
In regard to the test though...anyone with a pulse should get 10 but in honesty, you could have very smart people who could score badly on that style test just as you could have someone not quite as intelligent score high. My wife, who is brilliant and works with numbers all of the time doing mortgages, would have looked at some of those math questions that I find very simple and just say DaFUQ?

Thanks. I actually belong to a dining club and we do Pizza crawls. Did Brooklyn recently. Doing New Haven either in the summer or fall. There is a good show on Pizza on Vice as well.

I mean shouldn't the "wonder(ful)lic(k)" test be some sort of pre-porn career exam? :eyes::cool2:[banana]

Unless you are Herb Brooks. he wanted that kid (Jimmy Craig) who wouldn’t take his test to play in between the pipes. That’s how we beat Russia and won the gold.
