With Cal’s history in recruiting, I don’t second guess him anymore because he’s always seem to know the reasons why he drops .someone, we don’t find out until later.
If Cal isn't recruiting him, there is a good reason. Trust in Cal.
Same with me, Cal has earned plenty of trust when it comes to recruiting. I bet Anthony's family have made things difficult with this recruitment. I think he ends up going to one of his dad's playing buddy's schools.
I don't think Cole's dad wants him at UK.

Knox might have had as free a reign to shoot as any player in cal era.

I think Anthong knows that Cal n UK will not know if the cats will be able to have him be lead guard. Cole is a great player, he is a ball dominant guard and for him to shine or to break top five, he needs to have a trey what's his name type nov/Dec season throughout to be even mentioned that high in draft.
His physical stature and ggifts aren't enough. With carey, Wiseman, mc daniels, hurt, all have high potential. While Cole has to have high usage and stats to even catch the eyes of gm to be a lottery pick.

Kentucky's not for everyone, and everyone is not for Kentucky. Cal picks and chooses and BBN surely is comfortable with that at this point.

He’s probably going to try and make it to the NBA next year. He’s old enough. If he can finish up high school in the next couple months he could end up in the 2019 draft.

Cole is Duke-bound in all likelihood. Greg Anthony is simply toting out the line that the Duke staff is using. In a summer league video breakdown, Jay Williams said Knox didn't really play an open full court game at UK.
