There was an earlier argument between the coaching staffs.

I was there and I saw what you meant. Both of our base coaches and 2 of their coaches got into it, then Cohen came over and gave the Nicholls St. coaches a piece of his mind and told hour coaches to go back off. Never saw what it was about but that was a very heated arguement. Umps had to come break it up.

Wardlaw said Nicholls St coaches were upset that they thought our first base was talking trash.

That I don't know. Just typed it the way he did. I am sure he won't mind. This is what he had to say: "Oh... that was an argument over trash talking.

The Nicholls State coaches thought our first base was talking trash to their players. He was actually talking with our players. So they argued for a few minutes..."

Obviously, Nicholls State's head wasn't exactly in the game, intentional or not.

Does anyone remember the days when we used to talk about how the other team's coach was doing a great job and had a "nice program"? Those days sucked.

I'm glad they're over.
