Transferring to UK? He left a team which is ranked #8 in the country for a team that’s one of the schools alltime worst and very likely won’t make the ncaa tournament. I feel sorry for him honestly. Probably came here thinking it was his best shot at a title. Watch Creighton go to the final four this year.

Admittedly I don’t know their roster. Just figured he came here looking for a title shot. Well, glad he’s atleast getting to start then, for now. I’m sure the Askew experiment will start back up in a couple weeks.

You really are. Cal’s a decent human being who changed the game by building a system that actually works for the players as well as the other stakeholders, and winning a boatload of games while doing it. He’s been a fantastic ambassador and steward of the program.

Some of you folks...I wouldn’t piss on if you were on fire.

He left because he wasn’t going to play. At Creighton!

I said it when he committed here (and got blasted by the pumpers) and will say it again now...he’s not a player that can be a major piece for a team like UK. He left Creighton for a reason.

the fact that transfers from Wake and Creighton are two of the best four players is a major reason why we suck ***.

That system works for everyone except the fans who are the ones keeping the UK ship afloat. Players get drafted and rich, Cal keeps stealing millions from UK, and even the school keep raking in money. Then there’s the fans who have to suffer thru 4 months of horrible basketball for the off chance of a good 3 week stretch in March. That hasn’t happened in years and he’s only delivered on his end of the deal once in a dozen years.

Fans have gotten the **** end of the stick in this deal.

Tubby was also a decent human and good ambassador for the program and had as many championships as Cal.If that's all you expect we should have just kept him.

Another hypnotized kool aid drinker. November games don't matter. December games don't matter. Things are just fine. 1-4 is no big deal. 4 straight losses is no big deal.
These kids becoming millionaires is what really matters. How can you not want these kids to become millionaires?
Why does everyone care so much? Why do they keep score? They tried. They won the 2nd half for goodness sake. Come on guys. Supports the team.

Meh... He’s getting more playing time here than he would have at Creighton.

That may sound weird, normally you’d think UK should have far more talent, but not in this case. At Creighton he’d have to beat out quality experienced guards, whereas here he only has overhyped inexperienced kids in front of him.
