I think I’d have more respect for it if it was real talk, and not taking the “she hates America” stance. I’m sure she loves the nation, supports the troops, and takes pride in the flag......but the dichotomy gets drawn into a false line of opposition.
Trump voices his opinions several times a day......more so than any POTUS I can remember......you seem to have a big problem with that.
Dah......Who is asking for blind support for Trump or any other POTUS......hell......I don't even do that. You seem confused. I have zero problem with anyone that speaks out against any POTUS. I do think anyone that disrespects our flag and anthem while wearing our countries uniform in an international play is a POS.
But....she is still a GREAT PLAYER.
She has publicly stated why she no longer sings and no longer places her hand over her heart like ALL the other players and coaches do. She says it's a protest.
I get the point, but I also get hers. When else are people like you gonna give two flips about what jams her up in life?
Because that is what whackos do. Find things to ***** about if a person is one of color or gay or whatever that is different from them. But hey.......it isn't because they are racist or homophobes or anything. (eyeroll)
I stand still with my hat removed and over my heart when it’s played at the high school stadium near my house, I make my children do so as well, but yet - I’m not trying to (nor do I have the ability to) get issues raised in a national Discussion.

The problem now is she stated she wont sing to protest. Not singing is no big deal to me. Saying it and why is just stupid and an attention grab.
I hope some day, a white baseball player (who served) from Nebraska or some **** kneels in protest of how vets are treated by the VA. I’d love to read the discussion on the OT bout that one.
She is trying to get attention for herself and doing it by disrespecting the country she represents.
You still seem confused..........You have done this while wearing your countries uniform in an international competition? I also don't sing or place my hand over my heart and I also don't see the need to even play the national anthem at sporting events.......but AS usual you have missed the point.

I don't see what being gay has anything to do with what she does.
I don't see how she is disrespecting the country by not singing or putting her hand on her heart. If there is something else she is doing, let us know.
That’s why she kneeling, no? To raise awareness for LGBTQ rights. Many people (most really) that aren’t gay don’t care enough to discuss it. “Go be gay, just get it out of my face” is the sentiment most have, while basic rights (like the ability to serve their nation) are withheld from them.
Feigned ignorance is nothing more than dishonesty. You dont have to play dumb bru. We already expect it.
