Could be, but she might have to do that anywhere she goes. I thought her and Maddie played well together. If that's the reason, then we don't need that if she doesn't like competition, who knows.

She will get another 2 years. No one cares about women's basketball and she is a double protected class so good luck with canning her after 3 seasons.

And to be real it's not like our women's team has ever won a title or even final four so not much of a history.

I like her wish her the best - seems like a great lady - those players were probably poached by better programs I can’t imagine she’s a hard *** or anything
She just needs to go Portal crazy - get some transfers that have size - use all her scholarships - cut the girls that can’t play - flip every spot - it can be done but got to aggressive in recruiting

Last in SEC says it all. If UK keeps Coach E, they need to let her know the expectation and consequences of another season like this last one.

Also, probably need to turnover some staff and shake things up. Someone mentioned mediocre history earlier in the thread, and compared to SC or Tenn thats true. But we haven't been bottom dwellers either. This was completely unacceptable and off the charts bad for any coach we've had. AND Texas & OU coming are not going to make things any easier on the women's side.

No SEC Tourney title last year and are we even discussing this?

Mitch, wake, wake. Hands off snakey. Go find a superstar up & coming women's HC. NOT AN ASSISANT. And go get them.

Yes. Just Terrible at coaching the game at basketball. Unless they move on soon it’s going to get a lot worse I’m afraid. Very hard to watch them and believe they had a chance to win any game this past season.

The amount of transfers each year for the women is alarming. If administration does not see it then it will fester till the womens team is like Louisville athletics. Time for K.E. to step down. Time to really start thinking about someone from SCarolina coaching to come in and take over. Heck maybe Cal can step down and become recruiting coordinator for the womens and mens teams.

Rifle team? Football is doing ok but way overpaid and extended Stoops, way overpaid and extended Cow, women’s basketball is a mess and he gave Elzy a premature big contract, cheerleading has gone to crap, baseball has gone backwards.

There’s a lot of difference in putting 100 football players on a roster than there is 4-5 basketball players! That’s a terrible comparison!

The women have never been considered one of college basketball bluebloods, so for them to not do well goes pretty much unnoticed in the sports world. However, when the men have a 9-16 season or lose in the first round to St Pete, it gets national attention. So, relatively speaking, when you go from preseason top 5 to mostly unranked, it is worse than the women.
