How you got to that conclusion from what I posted is crazy. What I said was it doesn't matter who they lost to and by how much in the regular season. In the tournament none of that matters. Outside the first round any team can beat you. We see mid majors flourish against good power conference teams every year.
Why outside of the 1st rd? UMBC beat #1 UVA last year. It was a close game throughout, Cal didn't "out coach" Wofford when we easily could've lost.

I agree and that’s why I thought the thread was stupid. I’ll be honest, I wouldn’t want to give Wofford second shot. And they weren’t out coached.

Nothing I say could EVER be as stupid as you saying you wish our compliance department would loosen up so “we could take more chances in recruiting.” Talk about stupid, selfish and reckless. But hey, you duh man, here right?

Cardsstink, bro you don’t look good here. Nothing about this thread is a smart, rational thought. Back away, there’s no saving it. Doubling down and going after people isn’t helping you.

I’m having fun. Just replying. Their coach was ignorant for not going inside. Ignorant. But hey, have fun reading all the crybaby “Cal got out coached” threads that come up after every loss.” Heck, some miserable turds say he got out coached today. Their butthurt is hilarious.

Shooting 3's is their identity, so there's that.

I have a hard time patting Cal on the back for having his defense take away the 3 from the best 3 point shooting team in the country. It was a dog fight, and I'm glad we won it. But I think most posters on here could have come up with the game plan.

Who GAF what it opened at, before tip it was 5.5. These are facts. UK exceeded. You pessimist are the worst. We beat a #19 ranked team going to s16 w/o our best player & Herro doing subpar offensively y'all still bitching.
You're barking up the wrong tree numbnuts. I'm not poking holes in anything and I don't get why stating the spread was 6 points has anything to do with being optimistic.

I was making a point jackass. I was saying that nobody got out coached. The OP said Wofford's coach got out coached. I said the spread was 6 points, nobody got out coached.

Also, who gives a **** what it was bet down to? The metrics put it at a 6 point spread. The metrics tells us what the winning margin should be. That was the point I was making.

So I was doing exactly the opposite of what you are accusing me of. I was saying that our opponent was extremely strong and we beat them at their best, so suck it.

Go be a jackass on someone else's time.

who the f cares what the spread was

who the f cares who outcoached who

we won the game and advanced to the S16 lol
Obviously holdmybeer cares about the spread.

The spread opened at 6 based on metrics. Which means we should beat Wofford by 6 points.

We beat them by 6. Which to me means nobody got out coached.

But apparently that makes me pessimistic somehow???

lol no not at all.

And you are completely right. The line was 6, we won by 6.......we did exactly what was expected given the talent levels of both teams.

This whole thread just seems ridiculous to me tho lol. Like we just won a game that put us into the Sweet 16 and people wanna argue who outcoached who lol

You seem to care more about identifying the "skeptics" on this board than you do with engaging in actual basketball discussion. Your thread was obviously created in the spirit of baiting, which used to be a no-no on this site.

Given the subject of this thread, it's pretty obvious that your basketball acumen is lacking. So it makes sense that you would place the majority of your participation in pinpointing and calling out those you deem "haters" or "trolls". The irony is, you're kind of a troll yourself. And the sad part is, you don't realize it. You just keep proving it over and over again, and everyone is witnessing you slowly losing any clout or reverence on this board.

Also, there's some pretty obvious jealousy for @morgousky radiating from your posts, and that's not a good look.

Wofford played a good game today. Kentucky is better. I'll take this win and be happy, but Wofford was not outcoached in the slightest. You need to take your medicine, and hope this thread gets deleted, or simply dies out.

Well this is a great thread. LOL .

Cal did outcoach him in the 2nd half and it isn't even close. Now Cal got flat out coached the first 15 minutes. And pretty badly . But in the 2nd half Cal did do a masterful job. The last 8 minutes he made sure Travis and Hagans were the focal point and that is why we won. Also he pulled every right string defensively.

Jealous of a guy who is a miserable ahole that only other losers follow? Get your head checked. Their coach was a moron for not exploiting our foul trouble and instead letting his guy set the record for missed threes in the tournament. That’s not baiting. Sorry to hear that you are butthurt and blinded by. Cal disdain. Have fun washing Morgooskys car tomorrow.

He has an interesting misunderstanding of the criteria for being "outcoached" that's for sure.

Yet you never challenge the dumb “Cal got out coached” threads after every loss. Thanks for letting us know you have two sets of rules. Pathetic, yet funny.

Nobody got out coached. Cal tried to tell his players what would happen if they didn't guard the three properly. He said it a dozen times the last two games and worked on it in practice before today's game .Our young players didn't fully understand how critical it was. They realized it about 2 minutes in.

As far as Wofford's coach, he didn't get out coached either. His kids ran their stuff, the uk defense was just better.

Nobody got out coached.

This is reminiscent of 2009-2010 when Kentucky beat Miami OH on a last second shot by John Wall. Miami coach, Charlie Coles, was asked by a reporter how the game "got away". His response was brilliant as he discussed Kentucky having John Wall (who he said he was hearing was the greatest), Demarcus Cousins, and Eric Bledsoe......basically suggesting that they "came alive".

After making the reporter look incredibly stupid for a couple of minutes he said "why don't you ask John why it was so close"? Which was addressing the obvious elephant in the room which was the fact that Kentucky was by far the more talented team. It was a fantastic exchange/answer.

@Cardsstink, you should look that up. You are that reporter.

He got out oached by not exposing our foul trouble. You wanted to meet in person like only a loser would so your agenda is obvious as well. Funny how those that are miserable
(as you admitted to in a post pouring out all your problems in life) go after posters that aren’t miserable. I love it.

Didn't exploit foul trouble. You're a moron.

Your credibility is shot here dude. You might as well change your profile now.

Yep, this is his meltdown moment. I predict a thread from him in the next couple of days apologizing in an attempt to regain some semblance of credibility.

I think his "calling" (trying to call out posters that criticize Cal) definitely has some merit, he just created an incredibly stupid theory/point/idea to perpetuate it. And the irony is he doesn't even realize it. He just keeps pushing it.

My cedibuly is fine. You, wildlman in-Stl, Rupps runts and one or two others swarm like bees because you run in a little pack, try to bully anybody that stands up to you because none of you can stand in your own. Definition of coward. You guys are 1/10000/th of 1% of this board. So basically you’re NOBODY. Cry it all out.

You are the common denominator.

In fact, he’s The Master Baiter of RR.

Kudos.

Big W today! Glad Cal finally made it a point to put Travis on the block and tell the guys to get him the ball. Worked like a charm.

He's not smart enough to know when to quit and when to apologize. He's nothing but a punk.

There won't be an "I'm sorry" thread.
