Wichita State and SHU dropped 8 spots after losing Saturday, FSU 5. I bet UNC doesn't match that.
Wooford is now 1-1 vs UNC this year. Earlier they lost by 20 to UNC-Ashville.
Wofford is a local school for me, just up the road in Spartanburg, SC. Carolina Panthers owner, as least for now, Jerry Richardson is a Wofford alum and just donated a new practice facility and built a brand new arena there. We shall see how long that arena bears his name...
Don’t think he necessarily protects the big boys. I think he just does whatever makes himself the center of attention.

The 3 point shot allows less talented teams to upset elite teams especially when they are having sub par performances.
I didn’t watch game and I agree 3 pointer can be equalizer. Question re last statement and not meant just for this game. How much of “ having a sub par performance “is due to just that team not playing well as opposed to underdog just forcing them not to play well. Seems like most of the time we as fans attribute a big upset to the fact ranked team didn’t play well as opposed to underdog actually played better than ranked team I know each game is different which was it for this game (for those who watched)
Wofford outplayed UNC, and 3pt shooting was just one aspect of that.
I thought Wofford defended very well, and also rebounded well defensively. They did not attempt to get offensive rebounds, instead opting to run back on D to avoid having UNC get fast breaks.
Wofford also took great care of the ball, with very few turnovers, while turning over UNC quite a bit.
Lastly, I would say that Wofford was clearly the aggressor in this game -- they really took it to UNC. It was, imo, a complete victory for Wofford, versus a letdown loss for UNC.

Goes to show that even the blue bloods can have a WTF game. I know a big UNC alum/fan who hates Duke so much that he posts about diddukewin.com every time the Dookies lose. He's not a happy camper today.
