Even though neither are winning it this year, if you just look at upside and what the ceiling is for the two teams, the Fever are more likely to win a championship than the Dream.

I doubt they will, at least with the current roster construction, and all this talk gets thrown out the window IF somehow things break down and CC is traded (as unlikely as that is, it's still a possibility), and then it would just depend on who she gets traded to.

Reese won't win a title in Atlanta because they're just not good enough. Their ceiling is pretty much right where they're at. 4th best in the league.

Vegas is better at their best. Golden State plays better defense and I can just see the WNBA making sure JuJu goes to the Valkyries next year to give them a potential top level scorer to go with their defense. Minnesota will always be at the top as long as Reeves is there.

Atlanta would have to buy their way to a title, or Reese would have to go the LeBron route and hop team to team hoping to get in on a super team like with LSU and grift to a title.

I can also sure as sh** tell you that asking whether Angel Reese alone makes Atlanta a title contender or not would be rhetorical.............

I don't believe that Clark will be in the Finals this season, based on how inconsistent the offense has been lately, and how leaky the defense has been. I won't rule out the possibility that she will win a title first at some point. However, I agree with Monk that the Fever would be more likely to win first. And, to me, that is dependent on whether the staff can either somehow develop players' ability to defend a whole lot better in a short span of time, or bring in players who can execute a good defensive scheme, game-to-game. Good schemes + Good players who can execute at a high level = Success.

Depends on where they end up…I don’t think either of them will win a title on the team they’re on right now. The Fever will look completely different next year (and it may be without Clark) and the Dream will look entirely different the year after next (and it may be without Reese), so it depends. The teams in the W that win are the ones that are able to load up four or five superstars on the same team.

If Reese ever wins a title, she won't be considered as anything as probably the 4th best player on her team. When CC wins and she will, she'll be MVP of the league and considered the GOAT.

Which one is most likely to be able to surround herself with other great players?
Which one will decide that winning is the most important thing?

Those 2 answers will be the deciding factor in who wins one first.
