why does the Republican Party continue to blame Democrats for failed legislation?

I don’t care if the entire Democratic Party are babies that won’t negotiate, you can still get a bill that you’re own party agrees to, right?

I’m not happy with Democratic leadership, but having the majority in both the House and the Senate AND the oval yet blaming Democrats is fvcking pathetic, imo.

What part of 60 do you not understand ?

I'm pretty sure this same discussion happened not long ago...

After the midterms, it won't be an issue....

You may be right after the midterms; but if your total of sixty would carry vote your side would win. If you don't get sixty Republican Yea's then why blame the Dems?

Because there are only 51 Republicans in the Senate at present and it requires 9 additional Democrats? All have vowed to not support a single Trump initiative.

The Democrats are just carrying on what the GOP started with Obama but they’ve taken it to the extreme. It was my concern with electing Trump or Hillary. We needed someone who’d bridge the 2 parties but that’s not what the country wanted unfortunately.

I get what you are saying but even if John Kasich was elected then he would be the subject of the resistance. He would be a racist. He would be a sexist. He would be an islamophobe. And he would be dangerous so therefor the dems would obstruct.

My bad, I knew they had the majority but should have checked and not let my alligator mouth override my lizard ***. Thanks.

You all know Republicans could go nuclear and and the filibuster. You could introduce legislation that forces those that attempt a filibuster to explain why.

Control of all three levels of power, and the bitches are still whining about the Dems. Pathetic. Republicans don’t want to lead, they want to point the finger.

Oh ********. It’s strategic no different than the Dem obstructionism. We’re using their obstructionism against them. The tax cut legislation is the mid term death knell for the Dems. They overplayed their hand...again.

I guess the whole thing is about elections then....not actually governing. As long as business gets their d1ck licked, the rest is about political positioning.

All the Bullsh1t I hear about liberals and Dems and how bad they are for the nation, why don’t the hollierthanthous just push them aside and lead?

On one hand I’m sad for you. On the other, I’m proud of you. Yes, it’s all about elections, why do you think we have the ******** feel good measures we have in place now? It’s not because anyone thought it would stand the test of an acceptable ROI. Votes! All they care about. All they’ve ever cared about. They stopped working for us a long time ago. I was so proud to see you call for the need of Term Limits. It was like watching a child’s first steps.

To your second point, the leadership we’re playing isn’t in the short game, it’s the long game. We don’t have the resources that the Dems have. We’re lacking in an endless line of mindless celebrities to parrot our talking points. The court jesters and thespians if you will. The people who used to influence the mob. We’re lacking in a complicit media to run nonstop propaganda for our causes. We have to play our game differently than you all do.

Our strategy seems to be working. The Blue Wave is a ripple, Trumps numbers are going up, the mob hates the left right now, the left is sprinting towards extremist socialistville, and you all have begun cheering for the wrong teams. You’ve become “that guy”. We just have to keep the spotlight on you and allow you all to be yourselves. I mean, who doesn’t like a screaming child to listen to non-stop? Hahahaha

A lot of baby talk for such a big man. Just govern. Conservative policy is best for the nation? “The mob” of “middle America” wants it? Then let’s go. I’m not someone that bows at the alter of a single political party.

But here’s the thing. Obama was the reason, now it’s still the Dems. So if Republicans get the 60, can they then begin to except responsibility for not governing?

To be sure, I’m frustrated with Dems (Pelosi and Shumer are horrible leadership). But it seems that daily Sanders blames Dems for not wanting to negotiate, Trump goes on and on about it, I hear the whining on here......so why not just go nuclear and get things done?

One party plays the game, but acts like they’re not. One plays it poorly. Fvcking joke
