because most of us have some sense. The post you're replying to said that those idiots don't make any decisions or contribute anything.

That's the point I was making. If they did, they'd run off every coach in a year or two and we'd be down to awful choices like that.

I appreciate you conceding the point that "fans who care more" (read: loud idiots) contribute to the greatness of the program. [laughing]

oh I know they do. All I have to do is look at how wild fans of the best programs act. They apply pressure, and it becomes infectious.

We've basically beaten 2 teams we would normally schedule pre conference ... and if we beat Davidson by 5 per conference.. a lot of the same threads would exist lol
So you still have a bit of negativity to your posts. Not surprised you’re against people getting called out for doubting the team, coach, and yearly process.

You said you didn’t like Diallo and never would no matter what he did. Isn’t that the definition of personal attack? Had nothing to do with basketball.
As usual you are wrong. I said I did not like what he and he would never be a favorite of mine. I stand by that, however I did post a compliment to her m after the game Saturday.

What part would be negativity and How would it be considered "still"? Did you see my name on any post dragged up?

No, my post had a bit of realness to it. If you want to celebrate sweet 16s be my guest. At kentucky, we don't do that..just ask cal.

You're probably the everyone gets a trophy type .

Uh yeah, no. Thanks for the lesson in what Kentucky celebrates though and for your “realness.” We can all rest easier now.
And again, you retain your negativity by implying sweet sixteen is the limit. Why?

Please outline how i did that ..or are you challenged

No I said, let's hold off the i told you so's until we win 2 more games. Maybe you're such a worrier that you assumed that.

And our own coach says the same thing so I think I'll go with him.

So, did you miss all those posts where i said I hoped Diallo went for 15-9 for the year, that would mean we had a great year. I want him to do well, that means we do well, but I will never like what he did, or if anyone else does it. Everyone here knows I do not like OAD, so a none and done is over the top for me, but that is me. I do not try to convince others to think as I do.

Look man, you flat out said you didn’t like him. Not just that you didn’t like what he did, but that you didn’t like him because of what he did.

I see that as two different things. Maybe you don’t.

But I really couldn’t care less whether or not you like Diallo or anyone else. I just happen to think it’s poor form on a UK message board to talk about not liking our players. I’m sure some agree and others don’t. This place is the Wild Wild West at times.

Some of the nastiest **** was the way people were talking about Hami. It was disgusting then and still is. I mean very harsh personal things being said about him. Call all those jackass out, or any poster who attacks our players personally. They are the same ones who did it to Harrow, Archie, and def the twins.

There were abundant reasons for criticizing their play, or any player, but personal attacks should not be tolerated. You deserve to be put on blast. Then imagine how those players felt and the ******** they went through.

I thought we had rules on this board for doing such things but for some reason they do not enforce them .

I posted that what the main problem of the team was they played with no effort .
Rowland wrote about it as well.

Anybody who posted their was problems with the team were correct in their assumption . Even Cal himself said the players approached him finally and needed his help and that's when everyone accepted their role on the team and they turned it around.

Yep, I posted the same thing back in February and another poster dug it up yesterday and quoted it. It's an observation and opinion and at the time it was a valid concern. The Moderators have let this get out of control.

The only ones upset with digging up old posts are the ones that don't want to admit they were completely wrong about this team.
So what if someone's wrong? It's an open board for discussion and opinion. Just because someone disagrees with one's opinion doesn't mean that individual is wrong. Why dig up old posts; does it make a person feel like more of a man to point out that someone was wrong? It's childish, petty and immature.

I am still disagreeing that I said that. But, if you can link a post where I did say that, I will own it. I can not say that I do not like Diallo, because I do not know him personally. I can, and did say that I did not like how he handled last year. Feel free to look up that post where I said what you and Irish say that I did not like him.

Besides, since when is not liking someone a personal attack? You guys are really good at constructing straw men. I will be waiting for that link to be posted.

Here’s the first one I can find where you specifically said you dislike him. I believe there are/were others, but I really don’t have time to do this all day.

There’s also an earlier post where you questioned if he had even gone to class, which had no foundation as far I can tell.

Like I said before, I really don’t care if you like him or not. I think it’s bad form to talk about our players on the board the way you talked about Diallo. Makes for an ugly board, and when visitors do it, we call them trolls.

Obviously some people think it’s fine.

Does it work both ways when people say we're going to win a title or go to the Final Four but lose? Do we get to drag those old threads up? lol

We beat who we were supposed to beat. Be happy and hope we can get two more. Then it's considered a successful season regardless if we win it all or not.

It’s ok to be wrong. Everyone is wrong at some point.

But just as bumping threads might be childish, petty and immature so are the threads period. Is it not childish to bash a player after having a bad game? Is it not childish to massively overreact every time a team drops a game?

So yeah it’s all very silly.

Absolutely true. Richards and Vanderbilt have also been treated poorly. Also amazing is the condescending way some of our fans talk about Coach Calipari. So, of course, they get bent out of joint when someone bumps those threads to support the principle of accountability.

I am impressed you found that. You guys are good. I guess you and I have to disagree with that meaning. Yes, I said that. It reads” I dislike him for how he handled this”. Which is exactly what I meant. I suppose one can pick words.

Anyway, thanks for finding that. Peace!!

Pretty soon this will rival the UofL hooker book thread.
Curious about how many hours a day the Gossip Girls on this forum spend looking up old threads to bash folks with?

If you can’t own what you say, don’t post your moronic opinions. It’s also hilarious that people call bringing up flame posts as divisive yet are perfectly fine with people posting the initial ******** which caused more division as the right to express their opinions. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Absolutely correct. Completely amazing.

to push people down. A lot of childish BS . I said it yesterday on a different thread , just because you pointed out how horrible we were playing 4-6 weeks ago and stating Hami was not good , or Nick cant catch , or Quade wasnt defending doesnt make you a bad fan . And dragging it up doesnt make you appear smart. We were bad for a couple weeks , now we are not . Lets ALL enjoy it and stop stabbing our brothers in the back. Too damn many people acting like they have never posted a thought that turned out to be wrong .
No they need to keep being brought up...bc while ppl claim they are bringing up their concerns...it' really bc they are drive thru fans who want 40-0 served up immediately. You would think ppl would learn by now, to just watch the team progress...but no, they can never do that...they have to be completely negative about everything, and only focus on negative. I think they should be brought just to show how much some ppl waste away being miserable when there is no evidence to be that way.

Your op is even an example...you pretend ppl were just upset they were playing bad...no, ppl were ready to give up, bitching about coaching, crying how terrible every player was, how they are sick of these type of players, and ready to slit their wrists over it. Quite different than what you claim. Btw, if ppl would stop having goldfish memories...ppl did this last year with threads too....but here are the ppl again who just love to *****.

If u don't like these threads..than understand you don' run the team, domt know wjat the teams working on, and don't know what you're talking about.

CUCK uk, man, put him on ignore over a year ago I think. Weird angry guy, told me my TravisFord game used jersey wasnt real because Kentucky never worse Asics according to him. Took a picture of it and still didn't believe it. A moron could see this jersey and know it's real, and it came form Joe B Hall himself [laughing]

Do yourself a favor and hit that button you wont regret it.
