and then you'll finally stop pounding the drum/believing any of these teams belong in any kind of national discussion

we don't play major college football in this conference
Most of us have also derided the B1G west. Nobody I’ve seen has advocated for any west teams to even be ranked this year.

Wisconsin is Nebraska 2.0

They have a 3rd and 1, line up in shotgun and get blown up in the backfield. I used to be envious of their success running power football. Now they're no different than anyone else and going to find out that what they had wasn't so bad. They're defense won't be so dominant anymore when it's on the field for longer periods of time, especiallyagainst better competition.

Which makes it all the more sad that Nebraska averages about three wins a year in it.

Imagine how much better the B1G would be if Nebraska was actually good. Which is the entire reason they were brought into the conference in the first place.

NU fans: Big 10 stinks!
B1G: Yeah we know. That’s why you’re here! Help our perception and to win on the field.

*Nebraska proceeds to be the worst its been since WW2.

NU fans: Big 10 stinks!
B1G: …

If this is a MAC officiating crew, Buffalo might have a chance. Although the Bulls would be ahead of this crew hadn’t swallowed their whistles on an obvious PI in the end zone.

Badgers were just called for holding, so definitely not a B1G crew.

All the fatties in the stands turned to each other and said, “Holding? What’s that?”

I was shocked to see them just get called for a hold.

Favorite part of my game watching today. Wisconsin in the gun on 3rd and 1 and they got stuffed.

Conveniently leaving out Ohio St ….
Ohio st attempted to transcend the B1G and nearly did

Then Urban’s “health issues” (blatant cheating) caught up to them and now they can’t even win the conference

They remain the only B1G program to win an outright national title in the last 53 years

How many times are going to post the same thing that the majority already knows.

Give it a rest it’s week 1 for crying out loud.

The teams with the most wins the last 20 years are as follows : OSU #3 Wisc #8 Mich # 12 Iowa # 16 PSU # 18. However you wanna spin it them are the facts.
Well, yea

They play nobody in the non-con and nobody during league play

What do they have between them? 3 playoff wins and maybe 4 NYD bowl wins last 20 years?

Conferences that are competitive spread it around & win when it matters

This is the football version of:

“We got 10 NCAA Tourney bids! Ten!”

“Yeh sure we all got bounced the first weekend… but 10 bids!!!”

The SEC has a crappy Bowl record the last few years.

I didn't notice this talent difference you guys harp about when the Gophers played Auburn in Fleck's 3rd year. They were #8 and coming off a win vs Alabama...but we handled them. We would have won by more if they didn't surprise us with a kickoff return for a TD.
