True.

Watched the second half of the Oregon game the other day. Oregon missed a ton of open looks for twos and threes.
Game was closer than the score.

wow their defense best game was holding someone to 65 points
I think we win if we score 65 points. If Wisconsin scores more than 67 points then Caoch Cals record isn't as good at Kentucky. The key to the game is keeping UW to less than 60 points.

I've watched several games Wisky played in the tournament and I think Kentucky will cover their big men easily. I'll take Kentucky's guards all game long. I wanted ND to win but Kentucky earned it last weekend. Good Luck Big Blue Nation and Go Cats!

UK barely beat Ole Miss, TAMU, ND. You can throw away all previous scores. This will be a good game. I just don't see the Badgers maintaining that crazy shooting %.

While I agree that it is unrealistic to think they will be anywhere near 1.67 ppp against UK its not like they have been out of minds during the tourney either. They only shot that crazy percentage for one half. In the first half against Zona they shot 35% and went 2-6 from 3. They had a terrible offensive game against Oregon, shooting 43% and 30% from 3. In fact until the second half against Zona, most Badger fans were worried because we were in a bit of a slump compared to the rest of the season. Hayes and Koenig in particular have not been playing well at all in the Tourney and are due for a bounce back game, though that may be a tall order against UK. UW shooting like that is certainly higher than the norm but when they are on it is really not that unusual for them to get above 1.5 ppp. This team isn't the best O in the history of KenPom for nothing. If they get a decent look in rhythm, chances are it is going in.

They're a very, very good team, and one of the handful all season that I think we've all known had what it takes to beat us on a given night.

I do think it's worth noting, as you mentioned, that they were out of their minds in that second half against Arizona and only won by seven, but it's also worth mentioning that Arizona was living at the free throw line, which is rare against Wisconsin, so I'm not sure you can take much from that game one way or another.

People like to say Wisconsin is a better version of Notre Dame and that we barely beat them. First, while both are efficient offensively, they don't really run the same stuff. Second, if Notre Dame is just the weak version of Wisconsin, then Arizona is just the weak version of Kentucky--tons of size, great defense, looks to dominate you inside. We shoot it way better than Zona, have more depth, have better guards, and Wisconsin only beat them by seven while going 10-12 from three in a half.

Point is, it's basically impossible to play the transitive property game here. Just gotta hope the Cats bring it are look sharp. If that happens, we should be playing Monday night.
