I believe Wisconsin is traveling out west for this game and it sounds like this game is going to be a good one but I think UCLA beats them by 14 or maybe a tad more. Not sure if UCLA’s Quarterback is out but what are your thoughts and opinions on this game…. Who do you got and why?

Their QB is out for the rest of the season, (torn ACL I believe). Not sure if that changes things much, but you would think it would. Still they run the ball well, and play good defense. I know many will disagree, (fook Wisconsin) and all but I'd like to see the badgers win a close hard fought game. Bucky already has a loss, and we'll have a chance of giving them another, and I think their remaining schedule is tougher then UCLA who is undefeated and we don't get a shot at them. Better for the Hawks in the playoff picture.

UCLA QB is out. Wisconsin is certainly better than last year BUT their toughest game so far was the win against Penn State which doesn't look quite as impressive as it did at the time. I think UCLA takes them at home even though their back up did not look so hot (but now he has had a full week to prepare) and behind him the the starter's brother. If I were a betting man I would take the under.

Wisconsin has #15 defense, second in the country in yards per play, without the threat of the pass/nico, they will just load the box. Oregon without Dante Moore hasn’t looked very good, I doubt that’s a close game with Dante Moore Vs ucla.

I think Wisconsin has a good shot here.

UCLA's quarterback is out. I expect a low scoring game. Wisconsin's defense is improved. UCLA forced 7 turnovers against Oregon, SEVEN, and still won just 17-15.

20-13 - Wisconsin

Agree. I do always wonder about the term "forced". I mean Ive seen guys throw horrendous interceptions in some games, and they weren't exactly forced or return guys just drop the darn kick. I haven't watched that game, but I wonder how many were just gifts. That's a ton of TO's for one game.

Actually surprised by the line on this game being UCLA -2.5. Dieffenbach is really nothing impressive, and his stats from Cal Poly were yikes. I expect Wisconsin to shut down knight, and if that happens it becomes lopsided.

You are correct, UCLA needs to lose a few and the hawks control their destiny and the win-loss column by playing Wisky

It would be nice if things work out well for us to have a win on the road against Minnesota, Then beat a #20ish Wisconsin (after their UCLA win), then go on the road and beat a #17ish NW (assuming they win their next 3 games which would include @ Oregon). If all that happens, and Nebraska is somehow able to run the table outside of Ohio State, they'd probably be ranked low #20's when we meet, and I think we could possibly be afforded a loss to them at home, albeit a close game, and still make the playoffs.

Beat Nebraska and the above scenario plays out, we would be ranked 8th or higher.

But if our only losses are against a 1-loss Ohio State and a 2-loss Nebraska, I think we'd be in the top 12.

Indiana, Ohio State, Iowa, and possibly USC in the playoffs.

Yep. Dieffenbach was mediocre in his one season starting at Cal Poly. Before that he spent two seasons at Pitt and never played. The only other UCLA QB to take a college snap is Nico's younger brother, who has attempted one pass and it was incomplete. The Bruins are unlikely to generate much offense, so advantage Badgers.

Thing that really helps Iowa is Oregon, PSU and Michigan collapse this year.

I'm leaning Wisconsin this game. UCLA's win over Oregon is not tremendously impressive given all of the Ducks turnovers, and poor coaching decisions. Now they are missing the starting QB for the year.
