*****Wisconsin vs Iowa Game Thread*****

[QChawks]

Watch us run it here and play for 3.

[NoPuntsNoPeace]

Exactly what I was thinking but I thought 84 years might not quite convey the length of time accurately.

[Iowameat]

6 Straight quarters Bucky has not scored on us!

[Doctor Hawktagonapus]

Solid half

[r_desihawk]

This Iowa team is better than UCLA. UCLA struggled with this Wisconsin team with a ton of very crooked officiating at home.

i don’t know
ucla offense is incredible with that rd and new qb
we are in the ballpark but losing to mn like we did definitely shows they are better

[Denmar]

An incomplete pass and you’re still in FG range. I ******* hate this offense on down and distance plays

[MAKhawks]

Imagine if this team had showed up last week.

That’s football

Damn.

FIFY

[Rambler Hawk]

Yep. That’s a kid who doesn’t get it.

[EvilMonkeyInTheCloset]

diaz wide open picked wrong guy aargh

Our QBs refuse to wait to see him open on the crossing routes.

He is open probably 90% of the time unless they just happen to sit their LBs over the middle in zone coverage, but teams rarely have needed to do that against us.

[Hawksfor3]

Tony is 4/75.

[JerseyCityHawk]

I sure hope this is the version of Hank Brown we get the rest of the year. When he’s playing with confidence, his arm talent is clearly superior to Heck’s.

I hope and wish as he’s dialed in hardcore and the line is giving him adequate time to set up and get the ball off

[Rambler Hawk]

It’s only fitting that the boogeyman scores on Halloween

[ItsinourTNA]

20-0 at the half is exactly what we needed after that **** game last week

[r_desihawk]

these guys will play hard
iowa better not play soft prevent on D and safe runs into ol’s caboose on O until it’s 20-21 with 4 minutes to go

[3-D_chess]

I love it, though I have seen enough Iowa football to realize next weekend we could look like we never have played offense before…

I remember thinking after OSU in ‘17 we had arrived, or any number of other examples over the years.

Closing in on 30 yrs of frustration.
It's almost like JF tanks a game so our next opponent will be fighting last weeks war.

[Rambler Hawk]

Anyone check in on DukeSlater?

[HoggI74]

Halftime................................20-

[Rambler Hawk]

Unless Kirk orders run run run punt in second half this game is over

[MFinn]

Who here thinks Brown throws for 110 yards in the 2nd half? I say no.

[r_desihawk]

should we play hecklinski in 2nd half? might totally catch them off guard

if heck puts up more than 20 then we can enjoy qb controversy again

[MAKhawks]

6 Straight quarters Bucky has not scored on us!

Wisconsin has exactly one TD vs Iowa in the last 16 quarters

(and it was a garbage TD at that)

[Doctor Hawktagonapus]

should we play hecklinski in 2nd half? might totally catch them off guard

Obviously it should be Sullivan or Bessinger

[KuwaitHawk]

Does Iowa get 111 yards passing in the second half breaking the 300 yard barrier?

[r_desihawk]

Who here thinks Brown throws for 110 yards in the 2nd half? I say no.

yeah not happening

[Rambler Hawk]

Love the aggression

Yup, can't fault Lester for conceding just a FG

[Franisdaman]

6 Straight quarters Bucky has not scored on us!

[Denmar]

Diaz could have 150 yds if they’d get him the ball.

[r_desihawk]

Obviously it should be Sullivan or Bessinger

agreed…either brown or heck will transfer out end of season so makes sense

[Kceasthawk@77]

time to slow it down boys

gotta get those three points

Keep being an As-. Its your thing........

[HawksRule25]

Gruden!

[85Bears]

UCLA got very very questionable calls repeatedly and needed them to beat Wisconsin by ten at home. They have played nobody. At our best we are better than ucla

How did this team lose to Minnesota.

FIVE TO's. Look up the probability of winning a game with 5 TO's...

[RoseBowlorBust]

Can we redo lasts week debacle. This is enjoyable at least. Finish them Hawks!!

[rchawk]

Anybody else having a fun Halloween afternoon? Only thing better would be if I was in Kinnick.

it’s only half time
i recall losing to nw after being up 20 points

Rare, although Oregon hung with UCLA having 7 TO's.... which is crazy...
