For those dreaming of winning them and selling them like a prosthetic leg and mobile home for the CWS trip:

"As a reminder, Augusta National, Inc. is the only authorized source/seller of Masters® Tickets. The resale of any Masters Ticket is strictly prohibited. Holders of Tickets acquired from third parties, by whatever means, may be excluded from attendance to the Tournament."

You're selling the envelope or paperclip.

A guy I do some banking with had them ask for an I.D. that matched the name that they had in their computer for the ticket holder and luckily his dad was the lottery winner and was with them and had an I.D.

If they ask you for your I.D. and all you've got is a paper clip or an envelope, you are SOL. I don't know how often they screen patrons but if they do "Holders of Tickets acquired from third parties, by whatever means, may be excluded from attendance to the Tournament."

I read where Jena Sims (Koepka's wife) stirred up the traditionalist and pearl clutchers w/ her wardrobe this year, or lack of wardrobe. First one was reportedly "custom made from a Masters bath towel"

I won the Masters lottery the first year they went to a lottery system in 1997
I got 4 Tuesday practice round tickets for
X amount of $$
Have no idea what I paid for the 4
Sold two of those tickets to two people outside a gas station on Washington Rd on Monday around noon prior to me and a buddy playing golf.
I may have made $50 a ticket for the two I sold so basically around a $100 profit on those 2
I have not missed putting in for the lottery since and have yet to win the opportunity to buy any more.
I think they somehow know I sold those 2 even though apps and scanning and even the internet was just becoming a huge deal back then

Well, thanks to the "Pack" I just now learned how to get Masters tickets and applied for all rounds for my son and I. I know its a long shot, but I feel like my chances are really high for first time attempt / application for the lottery!!

It is now on my calendar indefinitely

So what if I put in for the lottery, but then gift the tickets to someone if I won? I'm not selling them...can they use them? Sounds like I'd have to be present for them to get entry?

I sold two of my four in 2014 and got in fine. But I have not won since. Do they know?

I know a few people who seemingly go every year, or at least very routinely. I'm quite sure they aren't members or anything like that.

Are they just buying tickets and not getting caught, getting extremely lucky, or what?

Plenty of people get tix every year and rent their homes. We hosted dinner at our house a couple of months back and to hear the tales. They always include the tix with the house rental. They are not members. One couple rents to one of the golfers who has been there quite a bit. I think if you can drop enough family names when asked, they dont flag.

We have a couple of customers who are members of the national and well, they stick out for the most part, but im definitely nervous to have them come in store and see i might have a round golf ball like object in store and suddenly get the wrath. The lady around the corner got a C&D letter for making frosted cookies in the shape of the US with a red flag on it. Pretty wild ****.
