learn to fix screens and you'll have a job for life. had a 75 y/o fix the screens on my house last summer and he told me how busy he always was and could never get caught up. the old fellow also turned out to be the most badass dude I had ever known -not even close. you just never know about people.
If you listen to some of these guys thatās why they got married so the wife cleans the windows and gutters
I've been married long enough my wife gets seriously hot when I clean the windows. She's a freak like that.
I've used meridian house cleaning a few times now, and theyāve knocked out both window and gutter cleaning without any hassle. Super responsive, showed up on time, and didnāt leave a mess behind. I asked them to come back in the fall for the gutters again since weāve got a ton of trees out back.

Most Ace Hardware stores do screen repairs. At least Westlakes on Center St and the one in Yankton SD do.
Must be a common thing with women. I do something beyond the everyday tasks like clean the gutters, spread rock around our junipers, wash windows, repair an irrigation pipe that is buried and requires some work to get to, and I have no problem getting her to drop her clothes.

this old recon marine did it at site. no hauling, no hassle. he told me most screens were made with the cheapest material available and would naturally wear out after 10-20 years. higher end screens added years to their life.

Years ago when the wife and I used to go out and she drank and I didn't, I told her to have fun and get as happy as she wants.
I told her I just wanted her "mostly conscious" when we got home.
Wine does the same for my wife. Gotta go with mixed drinks. Wait until she starts to get a little frisky, then when she orders a double on the last one you have to give the bartender a look that says water it down. So she doesn't pass out when you get home.Wine just puts mine to sleep.
