Just doesn't have the energy as last season and limps around a lot.

Not kool.

I think he may have some serious knee issues going on.

Sucks because we need all hands on deck to win this thing.

Wills? Maury Wills? Of course he's hobbled. He is 84 years old afterall.

Just kidding. He could be hurting. I donlt know. If he is let's just hope it's not something that lingers on forever. Then again he could just be struggling. I don't know.

Not good enough mentally. Kid is loaded with potential. Just doesn't have that competitive edge that makes okay players good, and good players great.

I wouldn't say it's an effort thing really, or a competitive thing. I think he's just a kid who's not as touted as all the other players, and doesn't know how to dominate a game yet. I think it's a comfort thing. I think if he stays positive, does his best, and realizes that he can only do his best...that's optimal. There are players that are gonna blow by him and jump higher than him. If he can make the most of his decisions that's all we ask.

Could be problems with his woman or too much time with his woman. Women weaken legs!

I think the crazy speed and athleticism on this year's team is exposing his limitations with those two things. He probably has figured that out and probably stings a little.

He bricked like 3 wide open threes. Don't know what the hell happened with his shot but that's all mental.

He looks a step slower because he has quicker athletes around him this year.

Yep. The slower pace of last year's team just better suited his game. He's moving at the same speed this year, but he looks slower because the rest of the floor is moving faster.

And another key difference last year was Tyler Ulis, who did a masterful job setting up and feeding Willis. Playing with Ulis was perhaps the best thing that ever happened to Willis' UK career. And the loss of Ulis is showing in his decline this year.

Hes a smart kid and needs to use that to his ability. He needs to know where the other players are going before they go there. He is never going to be faster than some but he is smart and needs to study game film so he is the spot before the opposition gets there. He has smarts and experience.
