I think I'd rather have Willis come off the bench, we'll need Gabriel to have as many minutes possible by March imo. The only thing I wish would change is Mulder taking Hawkins role and vice versa, Hawkins is an ok defender at best, his d is so overrated.

I didn't say Gabriel is a good defender. I said, Gabriel at least gives effort. Maybe you need to pay attention.
Give it a week and Gabriel will be a lottery pick on this board.
Willis needs to learn how to win a one on one battle on the glass. We do need him to shoot more. This team of guards should be perfect for his skill set if he plays like he's shown flashes of.

That's debatable, but that's not really a ringing endorsement...both suck ,,i want to lump Hawkins in this group too..this team won't be playing in a F4 with this D

Don't get me wrong, it sure isn't a ringing endorsement. All we needn't out of the 4 is WG to play great D and Willis to shoot well and give us another look.
Who will? Not Duke, they suck at D. Not UCLA, they suck at D. Not UL or UVA, neither score enough. KU is overrated and gave up a ton of points in some games, IU has a ton of losses, MSU and Izzo have a ton of losses, UNC plays no D. SO who the hell is going to the Final Four? I guess Villanova, Gonzaga (LOL), Butler and Creighton? WVU? Baylor? Give me a break.
Willis needs to give us 10-12 points off the bench is wat he needs to do. We need more production there and would like to see Mulder give us a good 10-12 as well. They need to hit 6 3's a game between them. With their stroke that woukd be an easy goal. I also like Hawkins but if our offense is stagnant during a game Mulder needs to be in for his shooting. I think some games when Cal has that odd ball lineup in and Mulder is on the bench our offense is atrocious. Hawkins needs to play with 3-4 other starters Mulder doesnt due to his scoring ability. Plus If monk or Briscoe goes to bench it should be Mulder replacing either on of them and use Hawkins to spell Fox. That is just my opinion. When we have Hawkins, Humpries, Gab, Briscoe, Willis etc... i think you need to play Mulder instead for more offense. But if Fox needs a breather of goul trouble but rest of starters are in thats when you can afford to play Hawkins IMO.
His role will change when he deserves it. He's lucky Gabriel isn't completely there yet or else he wouldn't play at all.
Bc it's Willis 4th year and he's the worst defender in the SEC, and not just on ball..he's clueless what's going on around him. Doesn't box out either...vandy game would've ended earlier if he would have just put a 10th of effort in boxing his guy out instead of giving them a chance to stay in it by letting his man put it back in. Can't put the ball on the floor. Really about his only use is spot shooting in the corner. Gabriel may improve and be big by the end of the yr...we already know what Willis is worth...unless your one of those ppl that keeps crying "he needs more time and he's just got to get the feel for it"....yeah more time than anyone, and how long do you need to get a feel...
Best thing to do is imagine that Willis is from another state besides KY..then ppl will quit thinking he needs more time.
He should have went the Kyle W. route. Calipari has meesed with him more than anymone else.
Remember all the times Cal said Willis wil play in the NBA but he hardly ever lets him play through mistakes like he lets others.
Willis said last year that he actually thought Cal and some staff members hated him. It seems like Willis needs to get stronger mentally but as I stated before.
