not turning over to Corey? That says something (he gone!). We know Geo is a gym rat who is all in with the game of basketball. It is nice to see that he is viewed as a leader by the team as well.

Well, Williams can’t turn the keys over to Corey, he already has them. I don’t read anything into that. If Sanders expects to make $$$ as a Pro, he has to come back next year!

It was obvious from Corey's "The Last One" tweet. He ain't coming back next year.

Also noticed Sanders was wearing the red warmup top in pregame as were all the seniors (rest of team were in white) and during the layup drills he was acting differently - almost as if he was celebrating his own senior day

Right. So he tries to go pro in two previous instances, writes the instachat post clearly implying something, wears the same outfit that the seniors are wear (implying something), but we still can't be sure what he is going to do. I really think the people who say are unsure of him leaving or proclaim that he is staying for a senior year are stating these points for either two reasons.

1...they believe he needs to stay a year because they think he isn't ready to go pro....your opinions there are correct, but Corey doesn't think so.

2...you think he is staying because you want him to stay and you think the team needs him next year...again you aren't wrong in having these opinions and hopes (I have them as well), but you aren't accepting the signals he is sending all too well

He wore that red warm up suit before the Stony Brook game, the one and only game I went to (yes it's my fault) everyone else was in white. The only one who knows is Corey, and the coaches hopefully.

I’m in the #1 category however, I believe Corey knows he’s not ready. If he thinks he can get paid to correct his short comings, I believe he’s mistaken. Wish him luck either way.

Fans should know the answer by Friday with the season being over and hopefully a announcement is made.

Why would Mike Williams comment "I'm turning the keys over to Corey" on Geo's instagram... lol.

But since Sanders cannot declare for the NBA draft and then withdraw this year (as he has the past two season) we should know sooner than mid-May.

He declared for the draft on 3/31/16 and then 3/23/17, then withdrew 5/18/16 and 5/23/17.

So I expect we'll know for sure by the end of March if he's returning or not.

Friday?

We're going all the way, baby! There's no Burr around to call the game over too soon.

Anyone remember this:

“The Big East Conference acknowledges that two separate officiating errors occurred at the conclusion of the St. John’s vs. Rutgers game,” the statement read. “Both missed violations should have caused the game clock to stop and a change of possession to occur prior to the end of the game. Neither error is reviewable or correctable under NCAA playing rules.”

We lost by 2 to a ranked St. Johns in the Big East tourney but should have been shooting technical FTs for delay of game with 1.7 seconds on the clock. And would have gotten the ball back after the FTs to try to win it with those 1.7 seconds. OR.. they could have made a travelling call and gave us the ball with 1.7 on the clock.

St. Johns players fouled our guy, stole the ball, took three steps landing on the sideline and heaved the ball into the stands.. and that is where the delay of game should have happened. They missed the foul, missed the travel, missed the OOB, missed the technical delay of game... to me that summed up Rutgers playing in that Catholics league. I wonder if the non-Catholics in the current Big East feel that way.

I do suspect we are treated poorly by Big Ten refs.. especially in womens BBALL... but it has to be better than the Big East. Valentine made some bad calls against us in the 2nd half of our last game.. that brought back nightmare memories.

These guys are ball players, not Alfred Hitchcock. People need to stop trying to get behind one line tweets and Corey's article.

Its so ridiculous, wondering why Mike Williams didn't give his metaphorical keys to another player instead of Geo. Lol.

Nice of Williams.

I can see Corey going either way despite not thinking hes NBA ready. Europe would be most prosperous and I think he could learn a few valuable things over there for a year or two if he wants to make money now.

Williams, Kiss, Eugene, Mathis, Duke and Carter rn are the future.(hopefully Corey too lol)

Dont read too much into the stuff we shall find out soon.
