Amari is just terrible. He's lost on the pick and roll defense and kills the offense. We can't get anyone open hardly while Gonzaga is wide open every possession. Even with Butler, we wouldn't be scoring any better (look at Clemson game).

This team unfortunately isn't a contender (said it during the Duke game) and I don't blame Pope for that. He did what he could do with what time he could do it. We just will struggle with our offense against any team with a pulse on defense.

Just tired of losing to teams like this so much thanks to Cal. Hopefully we can get better with more experience together as the season goes on and finish strong. At least get in the tournament and win a game or two.

He just can't perform against top flight talented Bigs. He misses WAAAYYY too many bunnies and doesn't hedge properly.

Can't understand why Pope doesn't t least try a Zone. That way he could plant Williams underneath and keep him off the perimeter on defense.

On Offense, his passing has become TERRIBLE. He is a pivotal part of distributing the ball, especially with Butler out and he just doesn't make the right decisions with the ball.

This team has a LONG WAY to go.

He didn’t jump on the tip jump ball. He let Battle make a poster out of him He let Ike abuse him the whole first half. He doesn’t rebound , can’t shoot the ball and against good defender cannot score in the paint. He doesn’t box out and when he decides to rebound uses only one hand.

Other than that he did everything perfect.

Great finish. The team fought hard and showed heart not to give up. I still like us better with Garrison and/or Carr being the primary center. Amari just isn't good enough to be the main big man. He has to play harder, work on his handle, do better on defending switches, and work on finishing near the basket.

Yeah when he was sitting on the bench. He got 2 quick faults and Pope took him out. He has the physical abilities but he needs to want to be a factor. Maybe Pope can build him up..
