Watched a lot of the highlights already. That was one of the best games I’ve ever seen outside of the outcome
yes watching now too, we got outscored by 13 points in to go from up 8 to down 5, that never ever ever should have happened.
We went 5ish minutes without scoring at one point. Probably the same stretch you’re talking about

I was at game and would love to see a replay - albeit wishing the outcome was different - but you can see a lot more on TV than at game. I want to see all the magnificent shots / how the refs called the game and why we allowed Notre Dame to score so much inside.
watching it again at this point, i am shaking my head, we should have won the game,, our offense was pretty good after that dry spell. We are supposedly a great defensive team, I was expecting stops to come and they never did in the way they needed to
Yea we definitely blew the game and that’s hard to accept. Give nd credit they made the plays to win.
They did, but Ron also banked his three at the end there.
We did we just didn’t body up and stop the O rebound not just the last play
Really feel like Brey brought his A game coach P brought his B game
Not an indictment just a tough coach to go up against with multiple days to prepare
We didnt rebound off their missed 3 at 73-70..inexcusable. they hit a 3 to tie..instead of RU with ball up 3
Not pressuring the inbound at all..they bounced the ball down and easily got the shot they wanted
When you play no bench and you're tired it's way easier to jack 3's. It takes more energy to drive
We hit 3 incredible 3s...2 in first overtime and one in the 2nd that would normally win you the game if RUTGERS had any semblence of defense
We outrebouned then …but didn’t win the glass
Game was lost because we didn’t play our game , we played their game
If their is one criticism of Pike…is that we are so style and culture based and dedicated about playing the game our way ….(or maybe his way)….when we can’t get our game …we always are a little bit short at the end
In this three Season ncaa run …the only game I can think of that we really won against a good team playing “their game” was Illinois at the RAC last year in December. We played a lot of close games playing “someone else’s game “….but always was a little short in a lot of them …
And last night was the pinnacle of all of those at the worse time….

Actually, their game is threes, but they beat us by running past us and through us in the paint.
This. As soon as this happened I said if we lose I’m going to remember this missed rebound for a while. I did think it was with less time left in OT but seeing now it was with a little over 2 min left. But still, the 6 point swing there was just devastating. Get the rebound there and we very well may be playing Friday
Although we outrebounded them, ND made some key rebounds yesterday. On a couple of threes (not sure if it was this one), though, they were long rebounds, which can often be more up for grabs.
Never will watch that again, broke a chair and a remote controller last night, and my family was ready to commit me on the spot. Do not need to re-live that! Thank God its St. Patrick's Day today so I can drink.
The funny thing it this game will end up being the best game of the tournament. We are upset because we are rutgers fans but if we pulled this out this would have been an instant classic. Unfortunately we couldn't squeeze out one more stop.
