If we loose to ole miss he is gone. We’ve already made contact with coaches just in case. If he beats ole miss he has one more year. Contact has been made to Napier and Novell but Novell is out.

Hud/Napier will hopefully keep Shoop or hire Grantham back. He looks to be getting tired of Mullens BS from what I can see. He likes Starkville and his son will be here.

What’s sad is that next year’s schedule sets up nicely for 5-0 start heading into the bye week before Bama, but I have zero faith that we’ll be anything better than 3-2. 2-3 isn’t even completely off the table

Why is Norvell out? Does he consider MSU a step down from Memphis?

The Croom level to which he will take us by the end of next year will cost the athletic department a helluva lot more than whatever his buyout is now and will take several years to recover from.

IF Ole Miss rolls us by 20+ I can see it happening. As I pointed out a while back, a big money poster told me they were talking about keeping Croom if he got a new OC until his last EggBowl blowout created a "fire" storm overnight.

Never, ever underestimate the Egg Bowl's affect on the donors.

It is really hard to justify another season at this point. Forgetting about the QB situation and suspensions for a minute, I am really struggling to think of one button Joe’s presses this year that has been the right one

As you said, he is just completely over his head

Fair point. I'd take Grantham in a heartbeat over Joe. And seeing how he stayed to interview for the job Cohen's *** should be fired. Which makes you think Grantham may think twice if Cohen is still AD. He'd probably do it for his son though. His wife loved Starkville too.

Bama was allowing 24.6 points per game in 6 SEC games this year. We have a offensive idiot savant and only score 7, at home! Oh btw that's the only 7 points he has scored in 8 quarters against them. That's all I have to know. It's time for both parties to move on.
