Well alright! Got some players to replace...better get busy.

We forget that just because the NCAA is a bunch of meatsacks doesn't mean the damage isn't done. Let's see how Wade does with a hemmoraging team and an undoubted hit on the recruiting trail.

LSU is fine with him.. For now. But he needs to get back to form and fast, or else he'll be gone in 2 years, max. Maybe sooner.

It's really hard to not give up on college basketball right now.All this cheating everywhere keeps us from getting the best players so we don't have a fair chance.
Cheating has been going on forever but because of social media and everyone thinking they are investigating reporters it has brought it out of the shadows. There is a book called “ Sole Influence” that brings up all of this stuff that’s going on now.

There’s no point in not cheating any more. Hope we can up the recruiting budget so we can get back to getting top 5 recruits since paying is okay now...

This story is far from over! Don’t think things are going to turn out well for LSU and others. It may take forever, but Wade’s days of coaching are few.

LSU will bring him back, be shown proof Wade was on that call, and Roy Williams won’t even be able to cover this one up.
LSU doesn’t want to pay a dime to fire him; they’ll promote an assistant in the interim.

They'll reinstate him until the results of the investigation. Unless it be proven he cheated LSU would still be on the hook for his buyout.

They were the leader for Dante with it being us and them. I hope Wade is at least a little reluctant to reach for his wallet now. Although why should he be. Everyone who cheats gets away with it. There are so many cheating I think the NCAA is overwhelmed. What BS. hope Dante still comes here whether it be 2019 or 2020.

I honestly see two sides to this.

There’s no question that Wade did something shady. If you do nothing wrong, then you work with the NCAA and LSU from the beginning. You don’t refuse to do so on some bogus grounds.

On the other hand, good for LSU. Carolina has been getting away with their players going to fake classes for decades. Why should they except a punishment

In all seriousness ... LSU doesn’t have a choice until Wade is made to testify or NCAA can prove his guilt. I doubt this is end of the Wade & LSU story. LSU would be forced to prove his guilt if they fired him now.

Because a wiretap by a federal agency isn’t proof enough? It’s a wiretap. And I’m sure it was on a cellphone in his name and number. How the HELL do you worm your way out of that? I’m beginning to think, with the current climate, Pitino actually had a legitimate complaint.

College athletics is surely on life support.

Fire him now and LSU has pay buyout or Wade takes them to court for firing w/o cause. Wade will say, “Conversation was taken out of context, yada, yada, yada...”

Let FBI do their work and LSU doesn’t owe a penny. Plus, fans cannot complain when Wade gets busted.

Depending on the nature of the wiretap, context would be nonexistent. But again we don’t know exactly what was said on tape. But I’m sure LSU does. And if they don’t. They should be finding out.

It’s a damn disgrace. Guess the old adage is true. The only way powerful people get in trouble these days is to be caught in bed with a live boy or a dead woman.

You guys really believe LSU isn't going to be hit hard by the NCAA with some major sanctions? Just because the university reinstated Wade, it doesn't mean LSU isn't getting punished.
