As you look at their schedule, it's not hard to see an 11-1 or 10-2 finish. They are favored against Mizzou, slightly. Will probably be favored up to the Tennessee game, and might end up favored in that one. I keep waiting on them to Vandy, but with how they took care of business against LSU, that just may not happen.

And Pavia has cracked into the top 5 Heisman ranking for a lot of folks.

Not Sure, Vandy could lose 2 or 3 more games. They Unfortunately for them, are in the SEC.. Tennesse, Texas and Missouri could beat them.. That could totally deflate Nashville!! This is their year, oce in a lifetime event for Vandy!! A 3 loss Vandy IMO doesnt make it in..

They could also fall victim to the same fate we suffered at the hands of the ''Selection Committee'' last year.

I think they make it and so does Indiana. Both get past the first round as well. Ohio State probably wins it all but they could get knocked off if some other team got a few breaks during the game.

If Vandy is going to do it, it better be this season. Because I bet little Vanderbilt’s success larger teams are about to start snatching key coaches and players.

I’m pulling for Vandy! It’s refreshing to see a perennial doormat kicking ***! I have zero jealousy and I’m happy these long suffering fans are having an amazing year. Pavia is tough as nails.

Certainly could. I've waited for them to stub their toe, but they haven't.

I didn’t think they would beat LSU. Not sure about against Missouri. Seems like one of those games that Missouri looks like they will lose for most of the game but figure something out or opponent screws up in the 4th.

But other than that- TX can’t score, Auburn & UK are dumpster fires. The Vols can score enough to win but they can easily give up enough points to lose too. Looking like a 9-3 at worst. Weeks ago I thought 7-5 at best.

They could. Let's face the SEC isn't the big old bad SEC of years ago. They have some good teams sure but also very beatable. 5 years ago a team like Notre Dame plays the best team from the SEC snd its over at halftime. Today its a tossup. That being said Vandy could make the playoffs. I honestly think OSU will smoke anything the SEC puts up in the end anyways.

Vandy can’t do it because history shows they have always been a loser. Well that what’s everyone says about us when we think we can get a coach that can get us to the top of the SEC. We supposed to Be happy with 7-8 wins. Vandy should too. No they will never make the playoffs. History tells us that and it repeats itself.

As a rule, In the past Vandy was always competitive early in the year until injuries started happeneing to their starters. They just were not as deep as many SEC teams, so attrition would take its toll.
