I think you're right. Too bad he doesn't want to help keep the Hawks O-line stay at the top.
PSU wouldn't be a bad decision for him. Like Iowa, they put O-linemen in the NFL. Farther from home though.
Slagle will be visiting on the 19th. Also has a visit to PSU. It's going to be a tough to get him to the hawks.
Hopefully he wants to stay in state.

At least he's willing to visit. That's more of a shot than I thought we had. His whole family is ISU.
He's been to Iowa for 4 other visits, this will be his fifth. I think it's probably PSU, but Iowa sticking around is a good thing.
Play close to home and still make the big $$$$ coming out of Iowa OL U.
and Campbell has not produced much at OL for the next level , can't think of any really off top of My head ,
The one to pop up in my head was Kelechi Osemele. Ravens drafted him in the 2nd round, he won a Super Bowl, and was All-Pro.
I just remember him because I thought his name was pretty cool.
Edit: As Grayhair noted, Osemele was before the Campbell years.

Jalen Travis they can claim but he was a 1 year rental. That is the only OL drafted during the Campbell era. He’d be nuts to follow him the more I think about it.

That somewhat surprises me. I thought it was likely he was going to play for Campbell.
Pollard's athletic department is on the ropes. He must have authorized a big $ offer.
I don't want an offensive lineman who has already been baptized in a Cyclone family. Stay away.
Predictable how this thread changed after he commits. No PSU, no Iowa, yes you are allowed to pay players now. The Moo U comes out, but you love the ANF on your helmets, even though Iowa does nothing for farmers.

I would be absolutely stunned if he is getting as much money as he would have got at Penn State or Iowa. But as mentioned earlier, Pollard's circus needs some good news. He may have shelled out the big cash for good news instead of another "rally the fans" broadcast.
As noted before, Hayden Fry was responsible for ANF during the farm crisis. He saw it happening, many Iowa players before and since then were farm kids. Many from agribusiness that depended on farming.
The Hawkeyes were on television a LOT nationally, the clones not so much. ANF was commented on to national audiences. And the logo remains on the helmet in support of Iowa farmers.
At the time Clown College was trying to keep their brains from getting beat in- in their loss to Drake for example.

Kid’s an ISU legacy. Not overly surprising.
Most doctors and dentists are Iowa grads, as are many attorneys. They do plenty for farmers
I heard that Audi Crooks entered the portal because Jamie told her to stay off of the pedestrian bridge. Any truth to that??
