I already have him pegged as THE one who transfers. I say he leaves.

Zero patience on this board , why does everything have to be determined immediately . We lose one game and there's no chance at a title , we beat a team bad and we're unstoppable in the same season . One freshman isn't playing after thirteen games and he gone , really ?

If he could help Cal would play him. Just really struggle in practice

Not if he wants to play pro ball. Long way to go this year. Practicing with UK is better than playing most teams. Coach Payne will get him going. Has talent. His time will come
Not if he's never gonna get a chance. He needs to transfer for the sake of his future.

I think he stays unless Bamba comes, and maybe even then. I think he will if he's smart. If I was him, I'd be confident I could take almost all tai and humph's minutes next year, and play over Richards and Washington.

*Zero patients by some of these freshman who transfer every year due to not getting enough clock.*

What? He's not even halfway through his freshman season. Give him some time. With your logic Kenny Walker would have transferred!!!
Kenny had exactly 0 DNP coach's decision in his career played every game as a freshman even though he was behind NBA studs Sam Bowie and Mel Turpin. SKJ is getting DNP's left and right, behind Humphries. Toniget in a blowout he came in after a walkon and played 22 seconds. He's clearly never gonna get a chance and needs to transfer before he is ruined.

Why would you blame him if he were to transfer. The box score says he got "0" minutes in tonight's blow-out against Ole Miss.

He's in Calipari's doghouse for some reason.

He's not gonna be ruined at UK. The kid is a freshman. At least wait until next year for that conclusion. UK is literally the NBA training ground.

If he leaves...it is a problem at UK that needs to be addressed. We need kids that can stand staying for 3-4 years and SKJ is a kid that can be vital to UK interior scoring needs.

It is for most players but if you're not gonna get a chance how is it an NBA training ground. How could anyone blame him if he did transfer?

He's definitely gonna get a chance, maybe not the one he wants this year...but he def will. Calipari worships his sophomores and juniors, and gives them maximum respect. I know he's in skj's ear telling him that if he puts in work, he'll get a ton of minutes next year. Also, practice at UK is basically d league level.

Good grief some of you people wanting him to transfer ! He will be fine. He is just not as talented as the rest of the freshmen. Needs to wait his time. Not all players are one and done.

He sits the bench... behind a player who consistently gives us nothing. By all reports is a hard worker with a great attitude and doesn't even get a chance. I'm talking not even 5-6 minutes in a blowout. He needs to go on and do what's best for himself and transfer.

We're not talking about the rest of the freshmen, he's sitting the bench behind Humphries.

This is the problem with so many UK fans now. If every freshman doesn't come right in and play like a lottery pick then they must be *** or transfer. How do you know Cal doesn't want him to do things to get better, because he clearly needs to. The games he's gotten in, he looks lost. I bet you wished Josh Harrelson should have transfered after his Junior year...Cal was just ruining him not giving him a chance. Oh wait...he got a lot better because he had to. I'd think if you wanted to get a lot better this would be the place to do it...after all its part of the reason kids come here.

This guy can't be serious? The times I have seen him play he does not rebound he does not get back in transition. Cal is not sitting him to be mean. This guy acts like it is some injustice lmao

Never gonna get a chance to play? He will if he improves and works hard. That's on him. It's not like he wouldnt play if he could help this team. Cal is all about these kids and their future. I'm sure he would love to play him if he was playing well. I really don't think Cal likes for any of his 5 stars to ride the pine. JMO though.

It's been clear since he committed that SKJ is a kid who's wired differently and from a different family. He didn't come here expecting to be one and done, and I'm sure he sees in practice that he's not ready yet.

I mean, you think he's good and Cal isn't playing him? Why? Because Cal loves Humphries? Because he won't play freshmen?
