Will Rutgers make the NCAA Tournament?

One road win and you are probably in.
One Big 10 tourney win would def seal it- and provide protection from the bid stealers who have lousy seasons but win their conference tourneys.

They better win at least 1 road game and at least 1 B1G tourney game or theyll give the committee an excuse to place them 69th
Win 10 games in the B1G this year (you're at 9 now) along with a decent conference tourney showing, and you're a lock. Beat Penn State or Maryland, along with a win over Purdue or Wisconsin, and there's no way they keep Rutgers out. The B1G is getting a lot of respect this season.
One of the announcers before the game made an interesting point which I agreed with. He said as of today (being yesterday before the game) both teams are in the tournament. He then went on to say that at this time of year teams can play themselves out of the tournament.
I said a few weeks ago that I would trade the undefeated home record (outside of Northwestern since that would have been a killer loss) for one road victory.
So we are halfway there!
But the funny thing is is there that big a difference between 1-10 or 2-9? If the committee makes a big deal about the road record it is what it is.
I think we are overstressing a bit. This team will claw another 2 wins somehow IMO.
With 24 hours to go, it looks like the board is split pretty much right down the middle. Good to know that the very loud voices insisting that we're in with one more win (or in already) haven't succeeded in brainwashing a good portion of Rutgers fans. We need at least 2 more wins, period.
Our record this month is 2-4, one of the wins could have easily been a really bad loss (Northwestern). In our last game we lost at the RAC for the first time all season. You can't say we are peaking at just the right time. If we were really that good, we wouldn't be taking this poll.

our 4 losses in that stretch are to 3 teams who are legit sweet 16 contenders and in the case of Maryland a national title contender
Can easily see us not making it. Schd is tough and we haven't played well in weeks -- outside of the Illinois game. But we're good enough to get a few more wins. Could go either way
All hinges on Sunday for now .. win that one and we are 90% in with the chance for a court storming magical day vs UMD ... lose to Wisky and there will be no court storming as there would still be a sliver of doubt and need IMO to beat @PSU or @PU

We are not 90% in with a win today. That would give us 18 wins in the eyes of the committee. An 18-win Rutgers team that closes the season on a 4-game losing streak does not make the Big Dance. It will take 2 more wins, at least.
