The ‘fair shakes’ have to not matter, you overcome bad breaks/calls with relentless effort, confidence, and a will to win. We have none of those right now and fair shakes then determine our fate.
Don't expect any favors from the zebras if you aren't part of the original 10 or especially the Big 2.
Hate to seem like I'm always defending Penn State but living where I do I watch a lot of their games. They've been screwed over so many times by the zebras from what I've seen. Fellow blue blood that's been in the Big 10 for 30 years now. If they don't get the calls I'm sure as hell not expecting us to.

I agree, but in close games it definitely matters, no holding on Wisconsin or tripping, and numerous other no calls

NU has been getting hosed by refs for as long as I can remember. A few times it even cost us a national championship, so I’m totally with you. The answer is ‘no’ we won’t ever get a fair shake so let’s figure out a way to win in spite of it. Maddening though for sure…
The only call I saw that point blank could of changed the outcome was the missed "Running into the kicker" call on 4th and 3 around midfield. I have to say, refs do not give Nebraska the benefit in many games. Michigan State game was HORRIBLE, but at the end of the day Nebraska needs to learn how to make plays when we need them. From what I can see is when it is crunch time, we buckle EVERY ******* TIME!
First of all, we’ve made our own bed when it comes to the talent and coaching on the field. We’ve bungeled lots of things very badly and don’t deserve to win.
That being said, there is definitely something going on with officiating and has been since we joined this league. There’s a competitive imbalance that we keep ending up on the losing side of.
