Will Hall looks like home run for USM

[Rick Cleveland]

He will recruit Mississippi, always has...

He's getting a good start with Keyes and Johnson, already got a QB/WR tandem to build around.

Is this the same Hall (the father, I mean) that notoriously steered players to Ole Miss at every coaching job he had? If so, I would imagine he's Ole Miss' guy if Kiffin ever leaves.

If Will would have had the size he would have had a successful D1 career. He was a good guy when I knew of him in Amory and one hell of a hard worker and smart player. Glad he is getting a shot.

Bobby was not one of my favorite people but I liked Will.

Johnson may not be at Southern when its all said and done.

Seems like a good hire to me. Offensive coach that knows the area and recruits well. If he stays 4-5 years and gets a better job offer and leaves, it will have to be considered a success.

He is a great guy and has a great family. His son was on my football and basketball teams while he was a coach at Memphis and they were always great to have around
