Anyone know how many great Teams didn’t win a NC? Anyone know what UK’s yearly average is between NC’s? We have 8 NC’s. UCLA has 11. Just divide the number of years these schools have played basketball by the number of NC’s they have. You’ll see how stupid some of you are for posting Cal has to win one this year to satisfy you. Winning a NC takes a lot of luck. A team has to play great every game. They have to have ref’s every game that are fair and impartial, which is something everyone knows UK never gets. Some really believe UK should win a NC every year, and that’s never happened. Yes, UCLA won several in a row, but everyone knows Wooden had people paying the best players in the country to come play for those teams. Those posting that he has to win a NC this year to get you off his *** know the chance of that happening is extremely low. After watching all of our games this year, I’m beginning to believe this team may not be as great as we all thought it would be. Do You? Players we expected to improve this year haven’t. You can blame loses on Cal, but if you don’t have the horses you need to run the race they’re not going to win no matter who the person is training them. Cal deserves some of the blame , but not all the blame.

Cal has caused more harm to this program than he could possibly repair in 2 lifetimes. He needs to leave for the good of the program and to save what little remaining respect the fans have for him. There are not enough cliche's left for him to spit out to make a difference.
If not for those two early losses, UCLA looking way better than the 16th best team.
Same as Kentucky. You can play the what if game all day. The Cal lovers should start applying for permits as much construction that is being done to keep moving the goalposts
UCLA has beaten Oregon, Maryland and Kentucky in the last week. If there is a hotter team please point them out.

Some posters will post almost any nonsense to make this loss something other than the train wreck that it is. When UK was great, it didn't try to pump up the exploits of another team as an attempt to mitigate the embarrassment of a loss. When we were great, no team wanted to be our next opponent because they knew an angry and determine team was going to open a can of whip-*** on them. Now, some fans talk up the greatness of the team that just embarrassed us while quickly looking to see if there is an upcoming cupcake to beat up on so we can feel good about ourselves. WOW!! Lol

I mean, UCLA is playing at a very high level. They beat top 20 Maryland by almost 30 at their place and beat a good Oregon team. They look like a top 10 team the last few weeks. Obviously; it's not fun to lose. Improve, get a decent seed, and make a run in the tourney are the goals. Things need to improve; but there is time.

There's like 10 of them who were fine just a few months ago. Now they all kinda suck. What's the ONE common denominator with all of them? That's right...your coach. Still, it sure is good to finally get a single victory over a Top 25 program. And it definitely proves we are back. No problems with this program.

Possibly, but not gauging that from our game as we are a fringe top 25 team at best and was a 2 PT game with 4:30 to go.
