Will a #1 seed go down this weekend?

Nope

Not even a 2.
That would be surprising. Since the field expanded to 64, there have only been 3 times when all the 1's and 2's made it through the 1st 2 rounds.

Somebody always screws up. You might not see it coming, but it pretty much always does.

Wow, great stat! I did not know that. Now that you said that I could see Louisville losing to Ok St or Michigan. I think either VaTech or Wiscy can beat Nova. Nova looked awful in first half to a really bad team. Also Kansas has potential loss in second round to Miami or Mich State. And with Gonzaga's track record I can see them losing to Northwestern.

The weaker teams in the tournament don't have enough to play with 1&2 seeds. Wouldn't be surprised if all 1&2 seed elite 8 happened

If Wisconson holds on to beat VT, it's not inconceivable they could upset Nova. Not counting on it. But seems like a slightly tough 2nd rd. opponent for 1-seed Nova.
I think Nova is beatable, defending champion puts a big target on their back.We will see how they handle the extra pressure.

No but parity makes the 40 or 50 point blow outs less likely. Even 16 seeds are good enough to rally when the 1 seed takes a little off the throttle. Saw it in Zona game, they made a comeback and Zona was like oh oh and then pullled away again...But few big wins today at all

Not many upsets today so I bet we will start seeing them shortly. I say sat-sun games Im going to guess there will be 3 big time upsets in 4 seeds or higher. This is just an odd ball year IMO. I can see Nova, KU,UL, being upset over weekend even maybe few others. Just hope its not us. What I like about us Is that Rarely we get upset in tourney but when we lose its usually pretty close seeded team or a higher seed beats us. KU ,DUKE, are the chokers to lower seeds!! Thats almost money every couple years or so.

If it does will you take a perma-ban?

Yes, if you'll take the same if you're wrong about this year.

Care to take those odds? Because, I repeat, it has NEVER HAPPENED. That's actually going back to 79, so we're at 38 years and counting.

If you want to bet against that for this specific season, I'm more than game.

I'm going with I doubt it. A number 2? Maybe, just don't want it to be us.
