be ranked of a 1-0 team? LOL
I thought WVU looked good in defeat, Grier can play! The defense got gassed but felt like they played OK until their tongues were hanging out! Conversely, I walked out of the Joan Saturday night thinking we have a lot of work to do, take away the 2 kickoff returns and the defensive score, we lose that game! Miami has a nice team and I'll take the victory but we need to improve.

According to you fvcks "others receiving votes" doesn't count as being ranked so I would say no
I'm thinking they'll come in at the #25 spot this week. If I were an Eer fan, I would be disappointed over losing the game, but on the bright side, moving forward they should be decent favorites in at least 8 or 9 of their remaining games. Until a majority of the Big 12 learns to play defense, WVU should be competitive in that league, as the Mounties play a little DEE.

Baylor , Kansas and ISU are complete gimmes in the league. WVU can't beat Oklahoma or OSU but they'll handle the rest of that no defense playing bunch.

You're overrating WVU's "D," but considering that you owned WVU season tickets for at least eight seasons, your "homeristic" view is understandable. The Fold & Blew surrendered 235 passing yards to an extremely raw freshman QB, as well as 234 rushing yards, and did not force a single turnover, so I wouldn't be singing Gibby's praises too much. What became obvious was that WVU's defense played well when it loaded the box, and Va. Tech refused to call vertical passing plays, but when the Hokies used a more-balanced attack, WVU was screwed. School's out.

I certainly didn't overstate anything. I said, WVU plays a LITTLE DEE, in comparison to most teams in the Big 12, where defense isn't played at all. That gives them a chance to compete week in and week out in the Big 12 against most teams.

You're still butt hurt over the realization that Michigan is going to spank the buckeyes come Thanksgiving weekend.

Not to mention, the OSU fan should be more concerned over the E-thrashing he's currently taking over on the Herd smack forum, comps of Coach Westsider.

How do you know that you own another poster? She posts multiple times in response to your one post, then begs other posters to come to her rescue! LMAO at the fake Michigan fan who owned WVU season tickets for at least eight seasons!

That's all that you have, Pops? I guess that I shouldn't be surprised, considering your advanced age, and rotting liver.

Says the short, silver haired 52 year old who looks to be 74, and yet claims to be a high-fluent lawyer, but borrows internet service from the law office down the block.

High-fluent? What the Hell is that, short ****? If you supervise hundreds of employees, as you claim, then you must run a landscaping business. LOL

You should side with FakeMichiganFan in this "quarrel," Buzzard. He's a WVU fan masquerading as a scUM fan. He even claimed to root for Marshall at one point. He changes his favorite team more often than you change your Depends.

Be careful Buzz, as the OSU fan works for Coal Mine Owners, as he defends them against the actual miners that slave for them. Cheats them out of their workers comp, black lung, pensions, you name it. He calls himself King Coal on another forum, but he's actually King Anti-Miner.

Make up your mind, drunkard. The difference between me and you is that I have never claimed to be someone or something that I'm not, but you spend your days in rehab fabricating fairy tales about your occupation and latest favorite team. Nobody believes you.

I couldn't care less what anybody on here believes, in regards to what I do. I know what I do for a living, I know what sports team I cheer on, and if all of that bothers you, then that's your problem to fix.

It's good that you feel that way since no one here gives a damn about it either. Why would you or your sock puppet even mention it on a meaningless smack board ?

First of all, I'm glad nobody here gives a damn, as I feel the same way about everybody else. I've never divulged what I do, unless beef necks either ask, or tell falsehoods about me. I then feel obliged to correct the record. Secondly, I don't have no sock puppet, particularly a stinking Ohio puppet.

Not so sure about that. I'll never say "can't" in any of those games. I remember beating a pretty good (#4) Baylor team a few years ago at home. Fortunately we have OSU at home. However, they looked like a Juggernaut in the opener. I placed them atop the B12 before the season began. We will be able to score against all of our remaining opponents. Will we be able to OUTscore them is the question.

Nope wvu is not ranked after the polls were released

Nothing surprising there. I put very little faith in polls this early in the year anyway. A perfect example is Texas being ranked simply because they hired Tom Herman. Another example is Notre Dame always being ranked in the pre-season polls every single year before they lay eggs as the season rolls on and the next year they are ranked highly again.

I don't know how anyone can take a poll seriously until at least the middle of the season. If I'm not mistaken Marshall fans were crowing back to back a little more than a year ago because they were listed as those receiving votes while WVU wasn't among those - and yet we were something like 18th in the final polls and Marshall went 3-9...........

If the Bears can't handle Jerry Falwell's bunch, they can't handle the Mounties!
