Hope the guy recovers. Unfortunate incident and from my opinion he did not provoke the bison and seems like he was a safe distance away. Roaming cobras in China is scary.

Maybe he wasn't one but there are plenty of idiotic tourists in Yellowstone. Last fall I saw an Asian family with a little kid trying to line up and pose for a photo in front of a huge bison.
