Leaving a/m out of discussions is likely out of context. There’s always a subcommittees for special projects such as expansion. It is impractical to have 15 members on a subcommittee and get anything accomplished. This appears to be more little man talk from tu than the aggies. Tu lost the expansion battle and are now trying to change the narrative for coming to the steps of the sec with hat in hand.

But its no different from the long held narrative that UF doesnt want another Florida program.
And if a school will be opposed to something, they should have the chance to be opposed and make their case.

This is no different than a secret decision to kick South Carolina out of the SEC. Of course South Carolina would be opposed to it and would argue against it since the decision heavily involves them.

Exactly. If we joined A&M and Mizzou to block Texas and Okie to the SEC, the next move would be for the other 10 SEC schools to resign and form the SouthCentral Conference with Texas and Oklahoma. Guess where we'd be.

Are you kidding? It's absolutely worth it even if A&M (and Mizzou too) bolt to the Big 10. Not even close.

Edit: And there's no reason the SEC would have to add a 16th team to make the numbers work. The numbers worked with a 15-team ACC last fall.
