A quick google search would say differently. regarding Capel. He had major violations... So you leave out Quinn Snyder and Amaker? Collins, Dawkins and Wojo are good guys and mostly above board but Brey is an absolute weasel.

Capel did not have major violations. Capel was not implicated in the violations that happened at OU.
What violations has Brey committed?
Sorry you’re right. Capel wasn’t “implicated” but his “staff” had major recruiting violations. Sorry if you’re the face and head of the program you better be aware of what’s going on.

So the " nearly everyone associated with him " comment was tripe.
I don't know what line of business you are in. But having multiple people that have been under your watch guilty of are rumored of violations is not a good look.
I always found it interesting that coach K use to spit down at the one and done type player. Then Capel rolls in and Duke committed full force to that model. Like most coaches he was able to shield himself at OU
