Almost had all the pieces for the NCAA. No rim protector so it was live and die from the three. And that’s exactly what we did. Mills made some great coaching set plays to get Giles open and Giles did a lot on his own. WSU bigger and stronger at most positions.

Really Mills sold himself short by taking an aac job after going to the elite 8 when leaving oru remember self left our elite 8 team and went to the big 10 Illinois then the dream job Kansas mills won’t ever make the ncaa with wichita he will need to if he’s going to top 4 leagues

GREAT SEASON!!! Was into it every week. They made this season exciting. NCAA tournament is not gonna happen but hopefully we get selected for the NIT. With the changes to the invitations a couple years ago, there is no guarantee. We will know on Sunday.

as for the players, I say we lose our whole starting 5 except for Behrend. I can see rigsby possibly leaving as well. If Konkol does depart then I see all players leaving except the walk ons

Getting both men’s and women’s teams into the NIT isn’t bad.

The women should get in. they got in last year with a worse record and about the same NET. The Women's NIT takes 64 teams where the Men's only take 32 teams. There are two other tournaments that the men can go to as well that they dont have for women I beleive and that is the CBI and the CIT. The CBI for this year has been cancelled as only 11 teams accepted bids to play last year. The CIT last played in 2024. They were supposed to have one in 2025 but that ended up being cancelled. When these smaller ones dont get the teams they fold out. The NIT for women though is 64 teams so they will get an invite.
