Why would Pope cover for Quaintance?

I don’t think many actually are laughing at Pope as in, not liking him. I think they’re laughing in response to how many people were not catching on, because there’s been a lot of back and forth. It’s directly more towards posters that were attacking everyone for simply seeing the truth and calling it objectively.

That’s how I view it. Anytime I’ve said something similar it’s for 2 reasons. I’m almost mocking some of the hardened pumpers, or if I didn’t laugh I’d cry. One of the reasons I want this over is so Mark can salvage some of himself here and not be known for where this is headed. So no matter what I say the answer is always I like Mark.

Attacking the other posters does nothing. Even those posters aren’t doing anything wrong — they’re trying to enjoy the season, simple as that. You and I are two completely different posters with entirely different viewpoints, but I respect the differences of opinion. I don’t attack you or at you or anyone else because I recognize we are all just fans having discussions. If Pope has a 2014 NCAAT type of run, you won’t see me pulling old game threads and talking bad about how everyone who doubted is an idiot. Im just going to hope for the best and, at this point, expect the worst.
