I'm not going to defend the ACC's SOS, and I'm not saying that Wake SHOULD make the playoffs, but I think that if the Deacs win out, including the ACC Championship, they WILL make the playoffs. That said, I think they'll drop a game, and this specific debate will be moot.

I can’t look at the group and say I feel any would go 3-0 but I see one I would say is most likely to go 0-3.

If you can answer that, it might help make sense why there are four 1 loss P5 teams ahead of two undefeated P5 teams.

They're 7-1 against a decent schedule with the loss to an 8-0 team that is in the Top 4. They're ranked 5th to 8th in most every poll I've seen.

They lost in a close last minute game on the road to a top10 team that is undefeated and in the CFP as of now. They havent beaten anyone incredible, but they also have beaten everyone but one team who is in the CHP right now...so it doesnt seem excessively off the mark.

It appears the playoff should have expanded to 8 by now...or possibly should have been set up that way from the beginning.
Yes, there may be a blowout within the playoff, but there often is even when its just 4 teams so that isnt reason to not have 8.

Wake Forest’s schedule is comparable to Cincinnati. But because they’re in a “Power 5” league are you going to give them the benefit of the doubt? How is that any different from what you complain about when the name teams are ranked above us? Look at the schedule not what league a team is in or what logo is on their helmet.
