Good lord. A 17 year old kid from abroad (who'd still be in high school under US age rules) doesn't even get a chance to start practicing with the team until mid-season, and the OP thinks the only possible explanation for him not having an immediate impact in games is that he's no good?

The ONLY conclusion is that he's not that good? How about he's only been with the team for a month and is well behind all the other players?

Thread should have ended with mdlUK's post. He nailed it 100% and there's no reason to doubt the kid and say the only conclusion is that he isn't any good, ridiculous statement.

Stupid post by OP, so clearly he is an idiot.

Cal and Tai himself have said that he is behind in terms of being in shape. Remember how just missing the summer got the twins behind. Tai missed 5 more months than that! Also admit it or not, but Csl does show some loyalty to the 2 returning upperclassmen who have playing time experience, and a loyalty to the highly rated FR who hasn't earned it yet. So that limits available minutes, to a kid who arrived not in UK-shape and didn't know how the defense rotates.

Aside from even getting in basketball shape, it takes time to get accustomed to coming over from another country.

He was never coming over and immediately going to play.

All freshmen must perform like Anthony Davis or they are failure...

or they can become the next Jorts, which is very fine by me.

Besides, our biggest issue is our interior fouling out. Find a center who can rebound and not foul out is all we need. We don't need all-american. We have that in our backcourt, and as long as we get rebounding and decent defense, we'll be solid.

yeah, a lot of threads should end earlier than they do, and with excellent posts such ast mldUKs, but that's not our nature [laughing]
