Can’t really compare Derek’s freshman year to mine. Such different cultures and level of talent. Kids gonna be a star. He reminds me of myself in terms of mindset and maturity as a freshman and maybe a little bit with the elevation on the midrange but that’s it lol. College basketball is not easy to play as a freshman. The mentality needs to be there. He has it. My freshman and sophomore year i was forced into a bigger role which probably helped me be a “star” quicker so even those few big games i had can’t really be compared either. Derek would’ve gotten the same amount of minutes on that team my frosh year. Either way i hope he ends up being better than me lol because then we’ll be pretty good

You had a much better handle than he has his freshman year and also much better court presence. He will get better though. His future is bright.

I am very very impressed with Woolfolk especially since he has only been playing bball for 2 years since before that he was exclusivley a football player

8 and 9 tonight I believe in some 20 minutes. Very impressive. He is quite athletic in his ability to go after and rebound the ball.
