Not sure if anyone has said anything about this yet... but when I was at the stadium the other day, they were painting the endzones WHITE with maroon lettering... but I did notice they were leaving some green in between the lines and the white paint... kinda like FSU's old endzones...

Actually, I'd guess that the gaps have more to do with the fact that you're painting the endzone white. I'd guess that the refs wouldn't like it too much if the endzone and the out of bounds line were the exact same color. If you paint them maroon, you can paint right up to the endline.

at least it actually says our name "mississippi state", instead of "miss. state" that LT was determined to hang on to (which sounds an awful lot like "mistake").

Mississippi State in the end zone is a big deal to Greg Byrne. Seems his teacher in elementary school made them spell Mississippi all the time and the name stuck with him, therefore Greg wants the full name on everything for marketing reasons. Makes sense to me!
