They're not in the top 10 - coming back baby! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

My guess is they will wait to announce after the evaluations.

So that they can hold another pointless press conference to announce that coach Cal is in fact correct. That everyone on the team is leaving. Then they'll have a press conference for coach Cal that he will in fact be the head coach at UK next year.

I guess there is a chance they are both staying?

Chance? Sure.
Likely? Not at all.

Murray KNOWS he's a 1st rounder, KNOWS he is a lottery pick.
Ulis believes he is a 1st rounder. I think correctly so. But if the scouts say otherwise in May, then maybe he considers returning. <5% chance he returns.
Skal may think he's a 1st rounder. But that depends even more on the scouts in May. With a good showing I could see him in the lottery, or with a bad showing he could be told he's a late 2nd round pick. Again, it depends on what he is told by the scouts. <20% chance he returns.

Probably doing the combine first and getting some feedback just to make sure.

Best possible answer and makes perfect sense. I think both are gone but just waiting to make that final decision after getting some feedback.

You just can't dispute when math is introduced. Kinda like when we say there is a 93.9% chance Crean will adjust his junk as soon as the camera pans to him.

I am guessing Murray is getting ready to hire an agent, so they wanted to give him his moment to announce. The other possible entries, will probably wait until after the combine. Then I expect Calipari to have that big press conference with all of them there, and we will find out about the rest.

Skal has the most to gain by coming back, so it'd be wise of him and his camp to wait as long as possible and gather as much info as they can. Most mocks still have him in the lottery or top 20, but he needs actual info direct from NBA teams. If he came back and played up to his potential, he could legitimately go #1 in 2017. But he's got to perform at a high level. If he put together another disappointing season, he could slide down with such a strong class entering the draft in 2017.

I can't imagine Skal falling to late 2nd round. If I'm a GM on a so-so team, I'd pull the trigger on him anything after the 25th pick. You rarely get anything out of the 2nd round, at least a player that has an impact.

As a Rockets fan, a team who never bottoms out and has more-or-less remained stuck in the middle, these are the guys you try and grab. If it fails, no big deal, it was a 2nd round pick. But man, so much potential and payout to be had if you draft Skal with the 36th pick and he lights it up.

Surprisingly, because there are some freshman that really disappointed (or didn't show out this year), there could be some steals in the late 1st/early 2nd. I think GM's will favor more proven players in this weak draft.

And the most to lose. Next years draft might be more crowded good big men. No guarantees

Ask Poythress He might be a millionaire now if he had left after his first year

Unless you're talking powerball lottery that's the closest thing skal will see to a lottery

If some organization wants to spend a few million to roll, the dice on Skal my I would advise against it. The sole, reason we were weak in the middle is because we put our expectations all on this prospect and short of maybe 5 games we were let down big time.

I think this means we must assess incoming prospects in a more thorough fashion in seasons to come. Just because rivals or 24/7 says some bean pole is the #1 center does not mean he is a center

Skal would trip on the way to the table or get muscled out of the way by an 8th grader, so no,use holding a press conference for him.
Correction: "poytress" would trip over the table, skal just muscled out. Sorry had to. They're both gone, ulis is as good as he can get in college (which is damn good) and skal has way too much potential/upside. Anybody who thinks they'll be back is kidding themselves.

Ulis is waiting on the NBA feedback before hiring an agent. They're just being cautious but the intent is to go pro.

Skal is weighing his options and may return.

Briscoe will return if he's not a projected first round pick.

Since Cal has been here, there has always been a single press conference that included everyone who was entering the draft. Players who decided to stay announced it via Twitter or a UK release.

With the new rules I'm not sure the same protocol will be used this year.
