in california, instead of building 0bama/biden 3rd bathrooms, they just turned the mens room into a transgender bathroom. usually fads take 5-10 years to get from california to nebraska...but I see the players vote have sped this up dramaticly.

IMO this has nothing to do with commitment. These are kids. They are not professional athletes and 99.9% of them never will be. They are kids living through one of the strangest and most difficult time periods of the last 100 years. This season hasn’t just taken a toll physically, it’s mental and emotional too. And sometimes the best thing to do for focus and commitment is to unplug for awhile and then re-engage. It’s just my opinion, but I think there is more benefit to them going home to be with family and then Come back relaxed and ready to go for Spring ball.
They made the right decision. You ever need a vacation? Obviously you were not committed if you ever took one

You're a bit over the top making it that comparison, its all about time and sacrifice.
I'm not equating a bowl game with war. I'm equating living in the states and being away from home for 6 month does not garner my feeling sorry for them when so many sacrificed way more. We want to play, we want to play anybody, we want a makeup game, we don't want to play that game! Come on!
Our team lacks a toughness! We cried when there was no football and stated we want to play. Now we want to opt out of one game because by gollie, we've not seen our family in six months! I didn't see mine for two years when I turned 19.
