The Left uses it as a tactic to shut down criticism of their failed policies if you disagree with them, and Blacks primarily (but others too) use it as an excuse for failing to access the opportunities available to them in America like nowhere else in the world or simply as an excuse for failure to find success as they see it in others who have worked hard and achieved.
Just like the Left can't accept that Hillary got her very wide and very lying *** beaten by Trump in 2016 fair and square (it had to be Russians "colluding" with Trump to steal her votes) Blacks and other minorities can't accept legitimate criticism or responsibility for their own failures without screaming out "racism" as the cause.
Disagree with Leftist's failed income redistribution schemes and/or Government control over outcomes to make everyone "equal"?...why then you're a racist!

Just for sh*ts and giggles, ask a Leftist to name one Trump policy or piece of legislation that's "racist" and watch their silence (after you get an emotion laced, fact absent, tirade over how much he hates anybody who's not White)

I think the US government is now keeping the families together until the hearing. Seems to be the right thing to do. What is odd is that this separation strategy was concocted to both excite Trump's base and deter future families to seek asylum or enter illegally. That strategy backfired.
Of course there are laws and people may seek asylum and it is legal. Immigration is very complex and there are people much more intelligent than you who do not completely understand it. Furthermore, there are Administrations’ policies that conflict with statutes.
The law has been in place forever. I for one don't want open borders , but if that's what the majority wants change the law but until then enforce the law.
