Because this "poll" is no different than the BCS system. They changed the name, said they made this and that adjustment, but it will always be the same:

SEC team #1-#2, Big 10 #1-#2, PAC 12 #1, and then how weak the Big 12 is.

That is how the talking heads speak, thus that's the thoughts around the nation.

From what I've seen this year, and I've watched more college football this year than ever.....

1. Alabama is clear cut #1, but they could lose against a good defense
2. Clemson keeps winning and are very talented
3. Not much difference between Ohio State-Michigan-Louisville.....or even, dare I say this, WVU or Oklahoma or Oklahoma State?

Losing me there friend. No difference between Oklahoma and Ohio State? Did you watch that game. Ohio State absolutely manhandled them in their house.

If I misunderstood and you meant no difference between WVU, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State then I apologize and agree with you wholeheartedly.
