North Dakota-win
Georgia southern-win
Oklahoma-loss
Indiana-win
Rutgers-win
Purdue-win
Illinois-win
Minnesota-win
Michigan-loss
Wisconsin and Iowa-split one or the other.

8-4 season or worst 7-5.

7-5 Trev would keep him.

6-6 with a loss to Minnesota or Purdue he is probably gone. But if he comes back another year we could save a lot of money.

Haha. Pretty optimistic given what we saw on defense last Saturday and Scott's success rate in close games.

Congratulations, you are the first and only person to predict a winning record for Frost this season and the last four prior. Oh wait.......

Scott just needs to stand there. Let an analytics person sit in the booth and tell him when to call time outs. That’s it. This team has the talent to go 8-4.

Not for Frost. They won’t win because of Frost. He just needs to stand there. Hell, hide in the closet in the locker room. The players can make this season 8-4 or 7-5. If Frost makes a bowl and gets fired a lot of boosters would be pissed and done.

They beat northwestern but they couldn’t beat their head coach.

Wait, you said they won't win because of Frost but then you said IF Frost makes a bowl game while predicting a winning season and a bowl game. You have yourself confused, he is still the head coach right?

I am predicting the players win and the credit is because of Casey Thompson and Trey Palmer who is a stallion. Yes frost would get credit but we all know it’s not him. So yeah he makes a bowl, but it’s not because of him. If Frost just gets out of the way I do think they can go 8-4. If frost would have done nothing Saturday you can admit they would be 1-0?

You seem to be forgetting about one little item, it's what is known as defense, something that Nebraska will not have much of this year.

Agree. I would like to think our O can be just a bit better though. This receiver group seems like the best since Stanley Morgan.

Just wanted to say I edited my post. I'm starting to wonder if all of these posters here are really Nebraska fans.

Illinois is better and so is MN. Frost will find a way to go for it on 4th and 8 from our own 3 yard line to lose to Purdue. Can't see him surviving.

I don't know how anyone can call ANY game a win before it is played with Scott Frost as our head coach.
Arrogance is what got us here.

I don’t see when watching on Saturday how were better than Illinois and Purdue..
If the defense had trouble slowing the rushing game of Northwestern they‘ll have even more trouble with Illinois,Minnesota, and Wisconsin..

Everything he touches turns bad. He let his team manage the whole game except for one time, the on side he called. And what happened it went bad. He needs to go sadly.

This. The most distressing thing about the game was that it exposed how awful our defensive front seven are. You do not win many games if you are awful in the trenches. Other than our next two games the only two games where we have a chance of winning would be Rutgers and Indiana. Therefore, unless our defensive front seven improve we will be lucky to see a 4-8 season. But if we do beat Rutgers and Indiana, and assuming a loss to OU, that would put us at 4-2 heading into the Purdue game on the 15th of October. Alberts therefore may not fire Frost until we lose to Purdue and then Illinois the next week, putting us at 4-4 heading into our murderous stretch of games at the end. Or does he wait until the bitter end as we end the season with six straight losses? Personally, I think it is very likely we will lose to either Rutgers or Indiana and that may move the firing timescale up to the end of the day on the 15th

Well Nebraska fired Bo Pelini with 9 wins and a record of a champion compared to SF! Has Nebraska lowered their standards? SF is not a HC for Nebraska .

What is the deal with Iowa fans and Bo Pelini? His firing seems to bother you more than most Husker fans. So bizarre.

I am not an Iowa fan. I am not bothered by anything any college wishes to do with their football program. My comment was in reply to the question posed which was would you fire a 7-5 SF in his 5th year with an overall record of 20-50. I guess I should have just said. “HELL YES!”

I agree. Also, Imo, CT is too good a QB to win less than seven games with this schedule.

You know who our head coach is right?
North Dakota - W
Georgia Southern - toss up
OU - L
If Frost doesnt go at least .500 against IU Purdue Rutgers and Illinois. He's out. Any bad loss on one of those he's out. He is a dead man walking as far as I'm concerned.

At the beginning of the season I had:

Northwestern- win
North Dakota-win
Georgia southern-win
Oklahoma-toss-up
Indiana-win
Rutgers-win
Purdue-win
Illinois-win
Minnesota-toss-up
Michigan-loss
Wisconsin and Iowa-split one or the other. A final record of 8-4 or 9-3

After watching the NW debacle

North Dakota-win
Georgia southern-win
Oklahoma-loss
Indiana-toss-up
Rutgers-win
Purdue-loss
Illinois-loss
Minnesota-loss
Michigan-loss
Wisconsin loss
Iowa-loss

I drank the kool-aide of the defense and thought the offense would improve during the season. The defense was exposed to their inability to stop anything less than 12 yds at a time, gonna be a long season. The offense may grow but as long as they are predictable as they are and cannot run between the tackles they will be a dismal failure. I don't know why this team is as soft as they are, but they were manhandled Saturday in Ireland and should be embarrassed. Someone needs to introduce misdirection and outside running to Whip.

If this is all they had after two weeks of prep against an average team, the rest of the season is going to be a dumpster fire with no fire extinguishers in sight. Good luck with the rest of SF tenure, it is only going to get worse. These eyes will not see any more of this regime's games.

Frost is gone. He could absolutely not afford to lose to NW. And arguably his one for sure call during the game cost the game.

Without Daniels, I had a feeling our weaknesses in the front 7 would get exposed.
